Bad situation for Cam

Kiper projects him #10 to the Redskins. Cam being successful in the NFL was a nice thought but the Skins are a train wreck!

Kiper is typically wrong anyways.

I hope this is one of those times. Snyder is an idiot and I'm not sold on the Shannahans either

Can't really see that working out. Shanny doesn't strike me as a guy that wants to change his system to accommodate a unique player. Whoever gets Cam needs patience for a year and they need to be creative in how to use him initially.

Shenanniganhan will just squander another talented QB if he gets his hands on him. Look how good he did with Donovan McNabb.

McNabb won't be there. He'd be learning from the immortal Rex Grossman. Or someone else they bring in to be pissed on by a washed up coach.

Well then yea, no reason for him to go to the skins.

I mentioned this possibility to a Redskins fan a couple weeks ago. His response, "I don't want anything to do with Cam".

I have heard several Redskins fans say something similar, but generally it has nothing to do with Cam per se. Rather, they feel the organization has MUCH more pressing issues and needs to deal with those (particularly the O-Line) and not draft a QB (any QB) at #10. The prevailing thought is that they should suffer through Rex Grossman next year as the Redskins aren't likely a playoff team next year anyway, draft O-Line and defense, and see what QB's are available in 2012.

I'd like to see Cam go to the Tennessee Titans. They got rid of Vince Young and really don't have a "future" QB. I think Cam would do well with the Titans. He's a much better passer then Vince Young was coming out of college.

Living up here, I am a bit of Skins fan (although ownership/management makes it tough to say that). I hated the way they didn't put Jason in a great position to succeed and think they they definitely have more pressing needs than QB. No matter how good the QB is, they are not going to do well until they have an O-line that can protect them. I'd like to see them build up some depth with the O-line and maybe get some other offensive weapons (several of their recent picks have been busts) then focus on QB next year.

Even though I'm a Titans fan, I do think that's the best place for Cam. His similarities to VY on the plus side and the fact that Tennessee would be braced for (and most likely tolerant of) the negative baggage clinging to him at the moment, would provide as smooth a transition into the pros as he's apt to get anywhere.

Even the Titans fans who were ready to dump Fisher for Vince ought to get on board with Cam in short order. I know I couldn't be happier with anybody in the draft. I know we have no shot at Fairley, but that would be a double whammy. The next Albert Haynesworth, Kyle Vanden Bosch and Ndomakung Suh in one package. But since Cam has a better chance of being around when the Titans pick makes Cam my hope.
