Clint 1
I'm watching the EAST-WEST Shrine Game, and am completely confused as to why every player has multiple team decals on their helmets? WEs Byrum is playing and he has Richmond, UCF, and other teams on his helmet. Some Penn State running back is using an Auburn helmet with more decals. Does anyone know the reasoning behind this? Mikey 16,781
It's a popular thing at all-star games. The players all bring decals/stickers from their schools and swap them around. It's fun for them, but confusing for the fans!
Duck07 0
It's certainly not hard to spot one of our DL, Brandon Bair, because he's wearing the neon socks/cleats from the NC game

It's certainly not hard to spot one of our DL, Brandon Bair, because he's wearing the neon socks/cleats from the NC game Thats what I said. Very easy to spot that! jj3jordan 2,160
Did Wes do any good? Missed him at JHS. I'm in Anchorage and couldn't get NFL.
Clint 1
Did Wes do any good? Missed him at JHS. I'm in Anchorage and couldn't get NFL. He did pretty good. He missed a 23 yard field goal, but I think it was the holder's fault. The East team that Wes was on scored a lot early, so he got to kick a lot. The game got boring early, so I quit watching it about half time.

Tiger Vision 1
One of the field goals he missed was blocked, and the snaps for the East team were pretty s***ty whole game. Plus, as the only AU player at this game, I think his mind was a lil somewhere else. 80,000 fans would have loved to have seen Wes take the field!! AUtiger98 24
What a lot of people don't realize about All-Star game is Scouts generally only watch practice. In practice they can see a kid put in a variety of situations to see how they approach the game. At the Senior Bowl, the scouts get a chance to see the players practice under the guidance of pro coaches, that's why the Senior Bowl is very important to those trying to make it to the next level. The scouts know Byrum's ability in normal situations (regular snapper and holder). Most kickers sign Free Agent deals anyway.
