Frazier, who is from Springdale, Ark., was part of a contingent of committed players who visited Auburn this weekend. But so where Columbus, Ga., defensive tackle Gabe Wright and Valley defensive back Erique Florence. Frazier said he's working to get those kinds of players to join the recruiting class, which now numbers 19.

"We're in good position with pretty much all the players we're going after. Hopefully, on signing day, we'll get a few more," Frazier said.

"Since I committed, it's kind of my job to get these guys on board. I think we'll get a few unexpected people on Feb. 2."

JGT also captures this sound bite from Frazier...

Kiehl Frazier, quarterback from Arkansas, has left the building. You’re going to like this one. Frazier already knows how to charm reporters and provide great sound bites. You may think that doesn’t matter, but he’s the future of Auburn’s offense. Frazier said a few schools have continued to recruit him despite his firm commitment. Asked about potentially replacing a Heisman Trophy winner here, Frazier said: “I’m not trying to be Cam Newton.” Frazier is 6-foot-3 and approximately 200 pounds. “I’ll be throwing it around a little more.”
