Duder 243
He's files suit against USC for negligence because HE dropped a bar on his throat. Gruesome, terrible injury but ultimately his fault. He chose to lift too much weight without a spot. This is sad to me. He's just hurting his own character here. Of course he didn't file suit until after going undrafted and suffered a pretty nasty dislocation of his ankle and was cut by the Titans. Call me a cynic but this feels like an attempt to get money because he had rough luck and probably won't catch on in the NFL.

His account is that the spotter during the lift got distracted and hit the bar during the lift causing the drop. Thus the lawsuit is after the university and the trainer. Just saw clips of his PC on Sportcenter. So did he have a spotter or not? The second part I agree with. Odd timing for the suit and looks like he is just looking to make some money to me also. Duder 243
Yeah, I stand corrected on the spotter--I caught the clip in passing. Regardless, it seems like this info would have come to light sooner. Clearly if he had a spot as he says, he was distracted. This whole lawsuit situation feels suspicious to me.
