Iron Bowl Paintings Update

Hey everyone. Just wanted to give another update on "The Comeback" Iron Bowl paintings I am working on.

I've been hindered by starting a new internship at RSA in Montgomery and getting this last semester at Auburn going but work is proceeding on schedule for the Ingram strip painting. Its starting to look good and take shape. I've also begun on the Lutz TD catch though at the moment, its just the background I've been able to complete. Once I finish the strip, I'll work full time on the Lutz catch. I'm toying with the notion of re-naming the paintings. A poster on this board gave me the idea of naming them after verses in the fight song.

"The Strip" - would be - "Never to Yield"

"The Comeback" - would be - "Ever to Conquer"

I'm not sure about copyright with Auburn University with verses from this song as I know they are peculiar about it. It might not be possible to do this but just an idea begin thrown out.

Also thinking about a Championship game painting of the 4th down stop at the goal line that would be cool.

Anyway, as I get closer to finishing, I will let you all know about pricing if you would like to purchase one and all those details. Sorry its taking a while but I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my paintings.

I like your proposed new names, especially "Never to Yield" for the strip. That play really was a "never give up" type moment and the line from the fight song is a great fit.

Good luck. I look forward to seeing the finished results.
