I hope he doesn't go to the Redskins but bet some Gators (and certain sports writers) are crossing their fingers some NFL team rep doesn't say they passed on Cam due to perceived "character" issues b/c of info leaked during UF's violations of Cam's Fed Privacy Act rights by the UF "honor" board.

Big difference in $ between the Redskins & the Titans...or lower...and NFL teams aren't shy about giving reasons.

Sidenote: there are still quite a few sour grapes regarding Auburn and Cam. A lot of ignorance and idiocy in the comments section of that article.

The comments are exemplary of that sort of idiocy all over the country/world, fed IMHO by a vengeful press who hate Auburn and its success. I just hope we can give them much more to hate! It's rare to find a truly positive column or article on Auburn that doesn't smack of homerism or exploitation. For that reason, I rarely read such comments, and wouldn't have until you mentioned them.

That would be my guess on the coach, just curious if there would be any other reason why he'd pick that location.

As far as the comments go, I rarely read them also. Every now and then I'll glance over them if there's a certain opinion I'm looking for. In this case, it was more diehard NFL fans' comments on Cam. Alas, I was presented with mindless drivel yet again.

I'm an Auburn fan and a Dolphins fan. And to be honest (and as much as I hate Saban) he turned a 4 win team immediately into a 9 win team and almost made the playoffs the first year. He drafted many players that are still there. Ronnie being only 1. He drafted several others that at the time I was yelling at the screen about but turned into really good players. The Dolphins regressed in his second year, but I honestly believe had he stuck with it he would have that team a consistent playoff team year in and year out. As much as I hate him, he could have been successful in the NFL had he had the drive and he wanted to. As much as you don't believe it I think he's just a college coach and that's where he would rather be. So don't hold your breath on him going to the Titans. I'm not saying it won't happen but I really doubt it.
