Thayer Evans In Auburn

The asshat Thayer Evans is in Auburn today/tonight. He was spotted in the little restaurant/club Cameleons, in the strip shopping center behind Zaxbys. Since he got egg on his face abvout the Cam Newton crap but can't admit it he is now on a kick to smear Auburn as being racist. Cameleons is run by some nice black folks and a friend of mine owns the building. I suspect Evans is there trying to find something to back his racist card.

Maybe somebody will take him behind the building and explain a few things to him.

Maybe some nice alumni will show him what the back alley looks like and give him a few pats on the back.

Edit: Also, if I were you and had a friend who owned the building, I would most certainly try to make sure that Evans was removed from the establishment and never allowed to come back.

I believe he was in AU last night as well. I saw some threads on Rivals last night about him being out at the bars....The guy really needs to get a life.

I had a link at some time in the past to an article on "orangebloods" the University of Texas blog site. Evans got on a similar obsession with Texas a few years ago. His lies kept getting more and more outrageous until the New York Times fired him for it. I wish I'd saved that link because reading it and thinking about what Evans is trying at Auburn explains a lot about his unhappy life.

So far in just this year, Evans failed miserably in his efforts to prevent Cam Newton from getting the Heisman, he's failed miserably in his efforts to keep Auburn from winning the BCS championship and now it appears he's on the eve of failing miserably in his efforts to ruin Auburn's recruiting class.

Maybe we should pay this jerk to try to spoil the basketball season. His failed efforts are about all that could save this rebuilding year in basketball. Or, hey! Let's keep him on permanent retainer to try to spoil all of our sports. So far all he's accomplished is to is give us winners!

I really think a large part of his problem is that his parents hated him at birth, thus the name "Thayer".

That they can't find anything is what baffles them so much. They've stopped being reporters and turned into little Don Quixotes. I agree, something HAS to be done.
