War Eagle!

I'm a long long long time daily lurker. I told myself 2010 was the year to join but waited during the season because I didn't want to jinx it with anything I did ha. Anyway what a great time to be an Auburn Tiger. My first memories of being an Auburn fan are when Coach Dye was hired and during the Bo era, that to was a great time to be an Auburn Tiger.

I also wanted my first post to have alittle substance other then about myself so here goes, I was listening to the radio the other day and heard some bammers calling in about why the Auburn fans are still so quiet, implying that we are nervous about whatever situation with Cam. A buddy at work, big bammer, also asked what the deal was and I simply replied just like I told people in 2004, I don't need anyone to tell me who is number 1 in my heart. Didn't need it then and don't need it now. Finally we got a chance to prove it on the field.

War Eagle to AU Family!!!

Welcome corch. Nice handle, btw. Reminds me of this gem:

I have immediate family members who are UF & FSU grads. They can't understand either why I'm not in their face singing Queen's 'We Are The Champions.' I feel the same way as you -- it's evident who's team was the best so there's no need to beat them over the head with it. Besides, deep down in their hearts ... ... they know it's true, too. WDE

We have always been humble and gracious in good times and bad... that's what all our Momma's and Daddy's used to teach us....part of being a Southern boy. The less you say...the less you have to take back later..Besides, it's much more fun listening to the Bammers try to come up with some excuse as to why it's not real, or that other shoe is about to drop or how they really won or whatever....I just like watching them squirm.

WDE...it's great to be an AUburn tiger...now and always.

THIS.

I have always been told "lose with dignity, win with more" from the time I was old enough to pick up a ball. I played high school football and baseball with that attitude...unfortunately on both, I didn't get as much opportunity to win with more :big:

Welcome and post often!! :au:
