Recruiting rankings

It was a hectic signing day that isn't quite over. How did Auburn fare? Well, it depends on what happens with offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio. With him, the Tigers have perhaps the best class in the country. Without him, they drop a few spots. Take a look:

Scout rank with Kouandjio: 1 --> without: 2

ESPN rank with Kouandjio: 2 --> without: 3

Rivals rank with Kouandjio: 3 --> without: 7

No matter how it turns out with CK it was a great day for the Auburn Tigers.

Nice summary. Auburn had a fantastic day with the guys that signed! I look forward to seeing these young men develop as players and people.

Oh, and hopefully Cyrus comes on board and makes a great class even better.

Our coaches are doing things SO right...They won't back down. The SEC better be ready in 2012, 2013 and 2014!

WDE!

Another undecided that could adjust the rankings is Clowney. If he goes to Bama, they will likely be everyone's #1 class.

Also, I'm a little confused by the rankings. Currently ESPN lists AU with 25 commits but doesn't include CK. Scout shows us with 25 including CK. Rivals shows 24, no CK. Is this just another reason to look with suspicion on rankings, or is there some explanation?

I wouldn't trust ESPN reporting on a Ping-pong match anymore. Why bother to check facts when you can be close? <_<
