"AU orchestrated a plan to set up Cyrus. The plan was to primarily keep him from attending UA, but to also coerce him into attending AU. They feel confident that the party who did the actual dirty work, cannot be tied to AU. It was communicated to Cyrus, that if he chose UA, then the violation would be revealed to the NCAA. He was not told to attend AU, only that he was not to attend UA. Not knowing that AU was in on the scheme, Cyrus was easy prey for the AU recruiting sideshow.

AU almost had him, but when the name AU came out of his mouth at the press conference, he realized that he was making a huge mistake... But what else could he do? He was embarrassed and didn't want his family to know what he had done (still not realizing in his 17-yr old mindthat he had been set up).

He has since decided to let his family in on the situation, and they all understand now that Cyrus was set up. He and his family are now investigating what his options truly are...and this is why the decision has not yet been made.

If one of them asks you about it, simply say, "oh no", "exactly how was he set up"? The reply (or dumb ass look) you get should be priceless!
