My cousin e-mailed this Channel 42 story about his father and some special oak trees planted in Wilsonville, AL.

(My Uncle Gene is extra special to me. In January 1955, I moved to Auburn to live with him and his wife Jeanie, my mother's sister. I was nine years old. When Uncle Gene graduated in December, we three moved to the Auburn upper Coastal Plains Experiment Station in Winfield, AL. Auburn and the Auburn Spirit was forever embedded in my heart and soul.... in my blood.)
