what if?

i just had a what if? moment, now i predict us to finish 9-3, but what if loses to florida on oct. 1st and when oct. 22 rolls around auburn and lsu are both (7-0) how big would that maatchup be

I'm not trying to be rude, but I had the most difficult time trying to comprehend what you were saying because of the lack of punctuation in your statement.

But yes, if Auburn and LSU were 7-0 when they met, it would be a huge game. I would imagine that it would be a top 10 matchup at that point? Auburn being the question mark unfortunately.

TRANSLATION: (?)

I predict Auburn to finish 9-3, however, if Auburn some how remains undefeated through the Florida game, how big would a match up be with LSU, who may also be undefeated ?

Reply:

Don't hold your breath. If Auburn gets out of September undefeated, then consider it a great start. After that, the next 4 weeks, things will get very bumpy.

Im sorry but if we don't get past Miss state and Clemson, it will be a VERY VERY long year. Other than the cream puff teams we have like Fau and Stanford, they're the easiest games we will have. I have no clue which USC team will show up and I may be one of the few that doesn't believe the hype around USC. They are going to always be a no better than 8-3 or 9-3 team at best until they prove otherwise, and im pretty sure we can handle UF because they are going down hill fast.

we don't play Stanford. We play Samford. Nothing against you, but I wish people would quit referring to south carolina as usc. While it may be an acceptable title for them, I doubt they are nationally recognized as USC. IMO, there is only one usc, and that's Southern Cal.

I think Drew's post was actually mocking the original unintelligible post that started this thread.

Unless of course you are Tim Tessalone who was the SID at USC. Where he says that USC is not Southern Cal and don't you call us that lol.

It's Not 'Southern Cal'

Note to the media: In editorial references to athletic teams of the University of Southern California, the following are preferred: USC, Southern California, So. California, Troy and Trojans for men's or women's teams, and Women of Troy for women's teams. PLEASE do not use Southern Cal (it's like calling San Francisco "Frisco" or North Carolina "North Car.") The usage of "Southern Cal" on licensed apparel and merchandise is limited in scope and necessary to protect federal trademark rights.

http://displacedtrojan.blogspot.com/2006/08/tell-me-usc-is-southern-cal.html

So don't call the University of South Carolina USC and don't call the University of Southern California Southern Cal. Actually remember back when they made a big stink about it.

Sorry, just thought it was kind of funny that noone can figure out the rules to discussing any school that has three words that start with a U a S and a C in that order.

We'll do our best to make sure LSU has at least a "1" in the L column come October 22nd... ;)
