TUSCALOOSA – University of Alabama defensive lineman Darrington Sentimore is exploring transfer options that include The University of Miami, multiple sources have told Tidesports.com.

A source close to the situation said that Sentimore's reason for transferring is related to a disciplinary issue, and that the former four-star recruit has had disciplinary problems in the past. Sentimore has not been formally dismissed from the Crimson Tide program, nor has he ever been publicly suspended.

Efforts to reach Sentimore were unsuccessful.

Another highly recruited bammer 4* has completed the Sabin process. Darrington Sentimore is transferring from Updyke U to the U. of Miami. He follows in the fresh tracks of Robby Green.

Dude was probably going to start at DE. It couldn't follow the rules. His fault. Not Alabama's.

True. It is the inbred belief of all bammers that it is always somebody else's fault.

Listening to the BHM sports-casters discuss all of uats departures. Now they use the phrase "roster management" to discuss the attrition. Sounds like pro talk. I have never heard this phrase used relation the college football prior to little nicky entering the state. Now it's not a big deal - just part of the "process". I'm sure that this happens at most schools but I bet that the numbers are nowhere near what has gone on at uat in the past 4 years. Might be an interesting comparison to see the attrition at the sec schools over the past 4 years.

I'm paraphrasing here but, when Saban got to UA, one of his first points he discussed was treating your roster like an NFL roster. He said in the NFL your goal was to find the best 55 players. He is obviously using this philosiphy towards an 85 man roster. It's taken a little over 4 years but everyone is hip to his game now.

I remember not too many years ago Bammer fans and the press in this state giving XCTT hell for weeks on end for letting 3 or 4 go to make room.

Then it was bad. Now not so much.

You could probably say that most times, but in this case, you cannot.

Darrington was involved with a Bryant Hall fireworks issue that ended up being one of the main reasons Rod Woodson left. Darrington, and others involved, had to sign a "behavior" contract. He didn't stay within the contract for a year. Sooooo he is on his way out. Not too hard to understand.

How do I know this? I'm pretty good friends with one of the GAs on staff. He work with the D, so he knows more about whats going on with them, than with the Offense.
