I know there was a thread here somewhere but I can't find it.

Of all the wonderful excitement of the game, Auburn came out on top and thats all that realy matters. But The thing I was most happy to see yesterday was, Neiko Thorpe make that tackle to stop NW and win the game.

There has been a lot of disapointment with Nekio this year by a lot of us, Including me, where it always seemed like  Neiko was the one getting burned for the TD pass that got us beat this year. After last year we expected more from Nekio this year, and for the most part the kid has done a great job. Can't wait to see how much he improves over the off season.

all of that being said: I was ECSTATIC that it was Neiko Thorpe who made the game saving tackle. Heres to the greatest defensive play of the season, and to Neiko Thorpe!

Neiko just had your typical sophomore slump. CB is probably the hardest position to play, it is 100% reactionary. Speed is Neiko's biggest asset. And I think he will be a lockdown corner by his SR year.

FWIW. Neiko made more than just that one play.  He made several critical plays.  He looked like he was "coached up" a little better.

I've never had a problem with Neiko.......the times he was burned this year the QB just made some good throws.  Shite happens sometimes.
