steve74 0
First and foremost, I don't wish this on any of the Auburn family but how cool would it be for an ice storm of epic proportions destroy all cable television lines in the state of Alabama tonight. :hellyeah: Link to comment https://www.aufamily.com/topic/87008-storms-a-brewing/ Share on other sites
weaglebeagle 0
It would be the redneck rebellion. I bet wal mart sells out of portable radios and batteries today. tigerbill 0
If the power fails, there will be a boost in sells of generators at Home Depot, unless they are still boycotting them since the awards show     Link to comment https://www.aufamily.com/topic/87008-storms-a-brewing/#findComment-896678 Share on other sites
Ronald McDonald 0
if that happened then i would go pull up my truck at wal mart and watch all the bammers scramble for a radio as if their life depended on it. AUSportTalk 4
Most of those rednecks share cable and power anyway so they will be alright. I would love for the power to go out in the state of Alabama so it will show ALL those TURDS that they better start going to the games if they are such big fans!! :zapbama: :zapbama: :zapbama: Link to comment https://www.aufamily.com/topic/87008-storms-a-brewing/#findComment-896735 Share on other sites
Bottomfeeder 244
Here is Mobile, AL as far as I can tell none went to work today, instead they are starting to consolidate in small groups of ten or more at friend's and relative's houses (most of which have generators connected to their houses in case of power failure). What they have planned on is the storm brewing Texas that has the potential to knock out all communications from the game both televised and radio. So the WAL-MART trip won't work. This should lead to major chaos throughout the State of Alabama. I for one will have my computer on and, after the storm knocks out the game, will visit the various bammer sites for imaginary play-by-play updates and BCS title grantor's comments. NavyNightmare 0
I live here in North AL and seen a true Bammer on the news this morning. They were talking about the snow in a super market in B'Ham and discussing the items people were rushing after. They stop the old lady and ask her about the weather and driving conditions... She replies with... (With a deep redneck voice) "I just don't want the Power to go out so we CAn't see Thu Game Tu-Night. I mean, ain't that what it's all about? Don't you agree?" Sure ol lady, no worries about black ice and harmful travel conditions tonight... As long as Alabama wins their 13th... er... 17th... uh... 5th National title then to hell with motorist and your health! SO glad I'm an Auburn Tiger... Alabama fans embarass themselves WAY too much.
