Today, on the Scott Van Pelt show he and Ryen actually went about debunking all "12" of Bama's titles. It was great. He also mentioned the fact that if Auburn had claimed all those titles we "barners" would be laughed. Then a bammer emailed the show calling them classless, but he responded saying all they were were doing was revealing the facts. Scott Van Pelt is my hero!

Saw a shot on College football Live showing the jumbo-tron at the stadium today.  Showed UT 4 NC, bamr 7 NC

Boy you know all the bammers in the stadium are steamed about that. 

Found out why they moved the natty championship game back a couple days from usual.  The NCAA decided to give the bammers a couple days to hitchhike out to California.

I feel sure that's the article he wrote about Auburn being like the "other woman", and yeah, that's one of the best nostalgia pieces I've ever read!

According to a bammer co-worker of mine UAT's claim of 12 MNC's is incorrect.

Based on his research they actually have 13!!!!!!!!!!

That's right, they have a "lost" MNC!!!!!!!!!!

He says he intends to write the UAT sports information people to inform them they are shortchanging the school!!!!!!

Proof that the typical bammer is delusional.  :laugh:  :beatmullet:

It seems like a few years back I heard that his wife was an AU grad.

Yeah, I meant to mention that.  He loves Auburn and even eluded to it while he was on a visit here back in '04 when Gameday came to campus.

so when did bama begin to claim all the NCs?  did they just up and one day say "hey lets claim all this bs"? im only 32 so i can only remember 1 nc untill last night :banghead:

there's a story posted somewhere that the bama sports director, or some such, wanted ta make bammer look better, so since SOME schools were claiming some obscure titles, he started doing it in a game program (?) in the early/mid 80's -

so yeah, they did wake up and decide to claim some pretty stewpidd 'titles' -

and the Legend continues ....  :banghead:
