Lee Ziemba Update

I spoke with OT Lee Ziemba's mom this morning and she told me that Lee told her, his dad and Coach Grimes that he will be returning for his Sr. season on the Plains.

Very good decision for him.

I am glad he stayed since he is full of potential but was he really considering going pro?  If any pro scout watched his games they would realize that he lacked discipline and often got beat by speed rushers.  Another year and if he can work out his false starts and can get a slightly quicker first step then, yeah, he could be a top two rounder easy.

Great news. Ziemba is a good lineman and Auburn will need him next year. If he can only cut down on the false starts he can easily make All-SEC 1st team and maybe even be an All-American.

Good work ST, I think that is the right decision for him.  I think if he continues to improve, he could be a top 3 rounds choice.  Tackles at any level are hard to find and especially at "6,7" 320lbs.

That is AUsome news. I just hope he'll learn to stop jumping off sides. He's a good player and even a better young man. The some holds true for Ryan Pugh.

Actually, it was McCain that jumped offsides the most this season.  Ziemba had a few holding penalties, but offsides were most of the time McCain.

regardless i'm glad he's coming back.  War Eagle!

You can say what you want but when I talked to Coach Grimes, and I would have to agree, he said he would take 5 Lee Ziemba's across the board on the OL. He is one tough SOB and plays 120% every play.

I think hes also got some unfinished business... I know that he cant possibly want to leave Auburn as an O'fer against UGA and LSU.

Im sure he also wants to get a crack at the SEC title as well...

im glad hes coming back, I think his best year is ahead of him
