First of all great site and board.  Thanks to the guys that put this together.

Second, my question.  I have learned a lot reading here...like the SEC limits how many players you can sign in a year at 28, with 25 on schoarship(correct??).

So, let's take UGA who has one for sure and possibly two guys leaving early for the NFL.  How does that play into scholarships you can offer?  I know we got to sign 5 that counted toward last year...is that bc we have 5 of the 25 that did not make it in school??? or for some other reason??  So my guestion is how do you get those guys that leave early back???? or do you just get your 25 each year and that is it.....of course I guess if you only can have 85 on scholarship...you need a few to leave...just wanted some clarification.

Thansk :wedance:

A school can only enroll 25 new signees in school in the fall.  If they lose scholarship players they can not make up for those scholarship losses with new signees.  They can offer those scholarships to walk-ons who are already in school as long as they do not exceed the maximum of 85 scholarships.
