We really needed a day like this before NSD so I can call and take care of it with our server company. I am pissed right now guys. You don't even understand. We pay $100 a month for this crappy server and they will be hearing from me, don't worry!!

Agree that this was the best case scenario though because now you know what to expect on NSD. This place was once the best kept Auburn secret on the internet. Now that the secret is out, people are flocking to this site in droves.

I plan on being on this site NSD and it looks like several others do as well.

We will get it fixed no doubt. If I have anything to do with it, it will be fixed by the end of the week. This is absolutely ridiculous and I won't put up with it b/c it showed me today that we are getting bent over and I'm not gonna take it!! PERIOD!!

***Just bare with us guys/gals this problem will be fixed. Like I said before, I am just glad that it happened before NSD.

Thanks for getting me in trouble at work ST.  I was trying to get the Mack update and when I couldn't get on I said a couple of words to my computer (like it could hear me) and then my boss came into my office.  Although my boss is a UAT grad, he was very understanding and knows about my love for AU football.  Signing day will be fun around the office.

ST - Thanks for taking the server issue seriously and getting it addressed. I know I stirred up some fun on the E. Mack thread. Getting this resolved before Feb 3 is key. Well, all snide comments aside, the majority of their graduates are good people...at least outside of the sports arena, anyway.

Good to hear that you have an understanding boss. I'm happy to say that while my boss is also a UAT guy (never went to college, just a good ole' country boy), he's not the least bit confrontational about it, and he generally calls it pretty well. Sure, he has the crimson tinted glasses, but it's a light enough shade that he sees things pretty clearly.

Have you thought about buying your own server?  It could possibly be worth it in the long run.  Spend $500 on a server and $80 a month for 10mb Charter business and you will be....in business

well i think we will be ok server wise and money wise for this site soon i would think. with the way this site is exploding and the popularity it has. i dont think st will have much trouble finding sponsors.
