Is Nick a little worried?

Recommended Posts

Have you guys noticed Bama is grabbing cornerbacks by the dozens? Could it be little Nickie can see the future of the Auburn offense at full steam? Every action has a direct reaction the cornerback knee jerk smells like fear to me!

He got those players because he could sell playing time...however, while that isn't a sign of him being worried, that is not to say that he's not worried, because I guarantee you that he is. Auburn appears primed to sign the top two running backs in the country to go along with the highest rated quarterback coming in for this class (who is already on campus taking classes), one of the best wide receiver classes in the country, and an offensive line loaded with four and five star talent.

Oh yeah, while bammers harp about how we're loading up on offense and ignoring defense, it appears we'll end up signing six four star defensive linemen and two four star linebackers...and that's just going by the stars they seem to covet. By the numbers, at least 12 of our current 28 committed/signed will play defense, pending Howard, Kitchens, and (maybe?) Reed.

I highly doubt Saban really cares what we are doing.  He has his mind on reloading and winning another NC

I agree.  From what I've heard him say, he's only worried about being the best they can be and he thinks the rest will take care of itself.  Like him or hate him, he can recruit and coach.  I think our staff is moving along those same lines and I believe the whole state of Alabama is in for some great times watching their favorite team, whoever it is.

I can't beleive he's is scared.  They will have three consecutvie tope 3 classes once this one gets in.  However, it is obvious uat fans are terrified.  Why else would be hearing that "Auburn's cheating" if they weren't?

Agree!

He should be scared...no, terrified. We're taking back the state for recruiting, and we are taking over the south for recruits and this is only beginning. We were leading bammers whole game while they were at their best and we at our worst (in speaking of defense-wise) and we could have won that game. Now we're entering our second year of Chizik's reign and there's no telling what we can do. Malzahn broke many offensive records with players that don't fit with his system. When he gets his players....oooh that just gave me goosebumps thinking about it!  :wareagle:

I don't think Saban worries too much about Auburn right now. let's face it to be the best team in the state we're going to have to be one of the best in the country year in and year out. Cause he is not going to leave. However I think our staff showed this year that we're not gonna be out-coached and we can go toe-to-toe for recruits. So,let the games begin it should be interesting these next few years.

Worried no.  A little pissed Probably. He had a free ride against Tommy his first year.  He was probably somewaht suprised last year.  Really POed this year.  I'll be you he pulls every trick in the book for the 2011 class.  It's really fun to see for the first time in my life that we got more than our share of the best talent nationally.  A big thank you to the entire Staff.  They are making me proud.
