With you having Metallica and GNR in here I take it that 80s bands are cool?

I will say:

1. U2

2. Red Hot Chili Peppers

3. Queen

4. Eagles

5. Van Morrison

Several of my favorite bands were out of the 90s though: Cake, Weezer, Counting Crows, DMB, Alice in Chains, Collective Soul, Barenaked Ladies, Nirvana, Pearl Jam and STP just to name a few.

Snap.  How did I forget Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers?  Crap they have a ton of great tunes.
