AE's coverage of  Auburn is second to none, but I did read this and found it interesting and thought some people may like to see it.

wareagleextra is the best au coverage on the net.

Aside from AE of course.

Sorry, but I vehemently disagree!!

Interesting that so many people are high on Reed. After what happened after the freshman WR hype last year, I didn't think he'd play that much (other than PR/KR).

They do a great job especially since its their full time job.  :)

AE is part time and all the others are fulltime and AE still breaks stories before them, that is impressive!

Yea, You really can't compare AE to other sites, they are all different and have their individual strengths and weaknesses

This.  As far as news goes, AE is the best for recruiting news because the guys here like to do more in depth stories and recruiting goes about as deep and investigative as regular reporting (like, not hunting for problems in programs) goes in college football.

But WarEagleExtra and al.com (pretty much just Goldberg, the other AU beat writers are pretty 'meh') are better for the day to day stuff like players reporting and practice reports, current player quotes, that sort of thing.

The best way is to read everything everywhere.  Information is always good.  It's the processing part where you have to filter down to what interests you.

I agree with Lynx. AL.com is good for day to day. I can't stand the posters on AL.com though. The sniping back and forth is beyond childish. It goes to the point of depressing that people say such things just because of a football rivalry.

Anyway, I like it here as the information is better, there are more available threads to discuss things, and posters are reasonable.

I check the headlines on AL.com as it sums up anything new very quickly.

al.com is a joke. Bitter always has about 5 times as much info as those clowns.

As for AR breaking stories, you can believe that if you wish.

That was a fun read... these freshman came to play football... they will learn as the season goes on, and hopefully contribute more and more.

Cant wait to see what they can do.

A WR is only as good as his QB allows him to be sometimes.  In the case of Reed it this could have been the case or maybe Reed just didn't know his routes like he does now.  :dunno:

It's right there in your nested quote.  War Damn Raiders believes WarEagleExtra has the best coverage.

Budapest said it right. AL.com has some good reads but the comments, backstabbing and snide remarks make it a reading place and not a comments place.  This (AE) is by far the best site out there for true AU fans.

thanks 05, still on the first cup of coffee

After I posted that I wasn't sure if I should have corrected you...considering your sarcastic history.

I never mind being corrected if I made a mistake.
