What college football tv announcer would you prefer for an Auburn game?

I have to go with Ron Franklin. He's the best in my book. He should be the commentator for every televised Auburn game.

Mike Patrick and Todd Blackledge combo! They did almost all of the games in 2007 for us and I thought they did an AUsome job. Great Chemistry together and IDK why ESPN would break up that duo.

Why don't we just get our very own auburn football tv deal. Kinda like ND being on NBC every saturday. OR we could have a permanent tv channel for AU football and have every game televised. That would be AUsome!

I agree. Ron's pretty good. I also like his color analyst Ed Cunningham. If ESPN had any sense they'd bump Bob Davie and Mark Jones and replace them with. How those 2 got a primetime slot I have no idea. Anyone else remember Jones calling Todd-Kodi and vice versa about 10 times in a game last year?

Man I really wish Todd Blackledge would have stayed on with CBS. Gary Danielson is a snotty little know-it-all who gets on my nerves. IMO he is bringing Vern Lundquist down. Vern and Todd were the best in the business when they were together and it wasn't even close.

How many time on cbs from one quarter change to the next are you lucky too even catch the kickoff? However on this day they appear to have cut a commercial or two so they could have their little silly dance.

Patrick and Blackledge are by far the best. They had some great calls in 07 (Byrum Kick, Iron Bowl, Chick-Fil-A bowl, Arkansas). Todd had a lame taste of the town though when he did it in 08. He ate creole food when we played LSU. Gotta go to Momma Goldbergs!
