aurules16 0
Who is our fastest player on the roster? I think its between Demond Washington and Onterrio McCalleb. Holland's Fro 0
I think Trovon Reed and Antonio Goodwin are the freshmen who could challenge for that title
CRuthven 0
doubt it, PPL when healthy runs a 4.
Holland's Fro 0
doubt it, PPL when healthy runs a 4.25 He hasnt been 100% since HS, I'm not putting money on it now. He's just got a bad streak of luck, terrible for him. And that time was before his ACL tear, he probably lost a bit of that now
CRuthven 0
i understand that, but if he were healthy; i would still put my money on him. JMO
jeiland9 0
I've heard that in a 100 yard sprint Spry is the fastest......I would dare say that PPL, Demond, or Onterrio are faster in the 40 though.
CRuthven 0
ive actually heard that spry and PPL were closest in speed, both leading the team. but then again PPL isnt 100% so who knows. maybe they will time everyone again before the season and find out who the fastest really is. RockyMtnTiger 0
I think Trovon Reed and Antonio Goodwin are the freshmen who could challenge for that title ^^^^^^This^^^^^^ "Reed arrived at Auburn as soon as he could in the spring, midway through May, and endured a full summer semester of classes. All the while, he was training with strength and conditioning coach Kevin Yoxall, who told Reed he needed to be “first in everything†because his speed was superior." Holland's Fro 0
superior to what? all his other attributes or the rest of the team? Everybody else. That's why he should finish first in all of the conditioning drills
CRuthven 0
well thats great, but do we know for sure who exactly is the fastest to date? like have they ran the 40 lately and released the marks? if they havent then im not counting on high school 40 times and what not. no doubt trovon is super fast, but i would really like to know who is the fastest guy! JMO

JMO I'd like to know too. But I don't think they'll run any timed 40's or have any races to find out. So we'll just have to speculate i guess
RockyMtnTiger 0
"Posted by: CRuthven Insert Quote superior to what? all his other attributes or the rest of the team? " Yoxall says Trovon should be first in everything because his speed is superior. Just making an assumption since Yoxall is training "ALL" football players he was saying superior amongst the team, or at least is amongst the top speedsters of the team and has the ability to outrun any. Now if you disagree with my assumption that is OK too, I would say Yoxall has a firm grasp on the abilities of our players and will defer to him. CRuthven 0
words are played different ways. but until they do a foot race or run the 40 again, we wont know anytime soon.

JMO My guess is Yoxall is basing it on his tests and has nothing to do with any timed run in High School Yoxall had been working with him all summer while Trovon was taking classes in the summer sememster. Its all in the first post I made.
RockyMtnTiger 0
words are played different ways. but until they do a foot race or run the 40 again, we wont know anytime soon. Not playing with the words calling it like I read it and based on the fact Trovon is a real talent based on many observations. Once again Yoxall puts all the players through tests and keeps extensive records of what they do. Just saying if Yox is saying this its pretty credible. By the way I am not saying noone else on the team is really fast just added some info saying Trovon should be considered based on statement made by Yoxall. here is link to whole article http://www2.oanow.com/sports/2010/aug/05/freshman-wideout-eager-start-season-ar-665628/
