wardon1345162806 0
Several SEC schools will be focusing on 2012 recruiting in just a few weeks, as their commit list firms up- Anyone know where I can see a good 2012 list of recruits that AU wants? With the small jr class, would only expect AU to bring in around 18-20, with following breakdown: OL- 4 TE- 1 WR- 2 RB- 2 QB- 1 DE- 1 DT- 2 LB- 3 CB- 2 S- 1 AU will have to be very selective for 2012- AU will have to be
pram92 0
actually the 2012 class is the most talented class in years i would hope we bring in as many kids as we can.
Rickys Rants 0
We need to give Barry Sanders an honorary degree so Barry Sanders, Jr. is a legacy!!!!......just sayin!
Holland's Fro 0
We'll sign a full 25. This 2012 class is STACKED. There's no way we'd just pass on some of these guys
wardon1345162806 0
AU is at 15 scholly guys leaving in 2012 right now, and only 6 scholly leaving in 2013. Are you counting on heavy attrition to be able to sign 25 in 2012? Surely you are not wanting to resort to cutting guys ala UAT??

Holland's Fro 0
http://auburntigers.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/aub-m-footbl-mtt.html This official roster has I think 21 JRs and 20 SOPHs. Idk how many are on scholarship and how many are walkons, but I'm pretty sure we can sign a full class next year with little to no attrition, which every school does
PA Tiger 0
Are we even up to the max schollys alloted yet? and you have to take the full 25 because injuries happen every year, as do injuries and transfers although the number seems to be only 15, it will be around 20 before signing day

AUApostle 7,859
Nice spreadsheet. Much appreciated. That is a really good job. It's as clear as day now. This last classs was a homerun...bringing in 25 freshmen was huge to our depth.
jgarrett 0
DJ, I was tempted to start a new thread but decided to just post my question here. Just curious if anyone has an idea of what guys are high on our board for next year, besides the obvious ones like Ragland, Alexander, and Yeldon. I know it is EXTREMELY early, but the coaches seem to be turning a lot of attention towards 2012 and I'm starving for news with it being relatively quite in recruiting right now. Thanks in advance. guerra aguila 0
Some exciting prospects are in this class... cant wait to see what Auburn's coaches can do.
ellitor 34,050
You always sign 25 or as close to it as you can and let competition decide who plays and make the team better. Also you gotta remember redshirts. There are a few Juniors like Gayden that will be redshirted...Plus Fairley will probably not go pro because of the NFL lockout

pram92 0
We'll need Barry Sanders Jr. I doubt he comes to AU. but there are a lot of good backs in that class.
Cammel 0
I've been to 3 Oxford games this year and Trae Elston has been a lot better than Alexander in all of them. The guy is a STUD at S and is All World at WR he is a MUST GET! Also Flint is really good too but he's hurt right now. He 's out for 2-4 weeks with a knee injury.
