Google image Alabama Fan, Andy Bitter, and UA Doc

I posted this reply to an earlier thread (Machete Man) but wanted some more feedback on Andy's interview especially. Enjoy:

On another note - have you guys read Andy Bitter's preview of Alabama on wareagleextra.blogspot.com? You should really check it out. The smug arrogance of this writer is such a contrast from all of the others that were interviewed by Andy. It's typical bammer self-entitlement, and it just smells of pride. You'll want to drag this guy outside and kick the crap out of him if you can make it through his responses.

Also, and I'll be done with my bama hate post - I had an AL grad over the other night who is a friend. She's a really intelligent girl, but it was so fascinating to me how bama ignorance drapes over her like a dark cloud when we broached the subject of football. The setting was this: We were talking to another girl who was visiting who is from Iowa, and I made the statement, "Just observe the kind of people who are pulling for each team, and decide who you want to be associated with, and you'll be fine." The AL doc said, "Auburn has just as many of those kind of fans as Alabama." I said, "One of my favorite things to do is google image 'Alabama fan.' Let's try it."

You would have thought that the overwhelming number of pics with jackasses and trailer parkers would have been enough to shut her up, but she literally said, "You probably rigged it to do that." I said, "Yeah, actually, before you guys came over, I anticipated what we would talk about, and called google to have them rig this so I could make a point. I don't even know how to respond to such ignorance." We then googled Auburn fan, per her insistance, and she tried to say that 3 pics of Auburn fans (one at a game with guys painted) was the same thing as 9, COUNT THEM, 9 pics of Alabama fans in true bammer form (tatoos of the bear, fat girls with elephants painted on their boobs, rednecks, etc.). It was so amazing, because this girl is very smart, how the row tighd black magic just sapped her of her smarts.
