Saw on sportsnight that branden smith is expected to miss a week of practice with academic issues at uga anybody know anything about this?

Yeah, I heard it on 680 driving through ATL.  They expect him back by the end of the week.  I find that odd.  Is there a question about grades or progress?  If there is, either he is good or he isn't.  Classes are not in session yet so how could he correct something?

Nobody knows. Richt will inform UGA reporters friday about it. He may be ineligible. Idk if this has anything to do with his situation, but he supposedly missed alot of summer classes because he was sick. So maybe he's so far behind in his work that they may not allow him to play. At least that's what i've heard

Its a little strange that the coaches were caught off guard. I do expect they will get it worked out knowing hoe UGA works. I heard as well on 680 the fan a4e.

Since UGA was voted #1 party school, I heard they were changing the name of the mascot to CHUGA!!!
