Does my 2 year old need a ticket?

EVERYONE entering J-H has to have a ticket, no matter the age.

Seems odd, but it's not like the airlines.(We have a 11 month old so we learned this last year).

I think it's AU's way of saying leave the infant/toddlers at home except for the daytime non-conference gimmie games.

I think you could try it for this reason. I only had 3 tickets one year to the Ole Miss game. My wife and I had our 7 year old daughter and our 2 year old son. I just politely asked the guy at the gate and he let us in. I don't recommend taking a 2 year old but you may be like we were, could not find a sitter on short notice. Good luck and WDE!

According to the University, EVERYBODY has to have a ticket, but when my kids were small (and thats was several years ago, since they are both students at AU now) I would put one on my shoulders and then just present 1 ticket to the ticket taker.  I was never asked for a 2nd ticket, sometimes they would even give my son a high five as we entered.  And this was always to the big games, because I have tickets for them, I would have invited a friend or two to join us at a game, and let them use my kids tickets.  Just be prepared to go find them a ticket if it doesnt work.

speaking of bringing you kids to games:

I brought my kids to every game possible since they were born. My oldest child's 1st game he was 10 months old, my 2nd child's 1st game he was 5 months old. Now I am lucky that my seats are on the 1st row of the upper deck and they could sit, stand, walk around in front of us without bothering anyone in front of them.

A couple of years ago I was in line at the concession stand when a man tapped me on the shoulder and said I just want to let you know my wife and I set several rows above you, and every year we look forward to seeing how much your kids have grown. Even though we dont know you or your kids names, we feel like they are ours because we have watched them grow up....AU Family!

(of course I wanted to ask if they would help pay their tuition now that they are in school at Auburn!!!)

I am afraid if I put my son on my shoulders my total height would be somewhere close to big bird, with my luck I would bump his head............hey!!! then he could get in and see the medical staff and they forget all about ticket  ;)

Seriously, it makes since, chances are they will probably have to use the seat next to you. Cant sit on the coke stained cement and if Zach were in my lap, Auburn's first TD, I may just forget and he go flying down a couple of levels

yes I remember in the 1993 Florida game I was holding my 2 yr old son, and when we intercepted a pass and returned in 85 or so yards for a td everybody around me thought I was going to throw him over the rail...so if hold your kids, you have to be a little more subdued with your cheering!
