NoNC4Tubs 0
Wow...what a story. I'm also a GSU fan now. Star Jackson's comments about Bama were very telling..... The only quote in the article: "Bama is a machine," Jackson says. "You do it like this, and if you don't -- your ass isn't playing." What does that tell you? It tells me that they must be paying their sports psychologist pretty well to brainwash these kids.

The only quote in the article: "Bama is a machine," Jackson says. "You do it like this, and if you don't -- your ass isn't playing." What does that tell you? It tells me that Bama players are not having any fun playing for Lil' Nicky, and that it's not much of a character building experience. It's a business and players are commodities, not college kids. If I was a talented recruit, I'd want a lot more out of my college years than that, especially since there are plenty of other schools that can lead to a career in the NFL. Magnolia and College 1
It didn't tell me anything negative about Alabama. We have players that may never play because they aren't as good as others or maybe don't work as hard. This is no different. If he gave them the best chance to win he would have been on the field. Nick Saban may not be somebody you want to baby sit your kids but he has a system that wins. Whether or not that is the only goal you should try to achieve is for each player, school, or fan to decide.

While it's true that some guys on the Auburn team will never play a down, I do believe our coaching staff cares about each and every one of them as human beings - not solely for 'what can you do for me'. I'm not saying that Coach Saban has that mindset - I can't see into his heart - but there a signs that indicate that may be the case. Nobody can question his track record, but there's more to football than just winning.
