Endzone seating

For those with lots of experience sitting in the end zones at games, can you tell me how low you can sit and still be able to see the play on the other end of the field? I am referring to Sections 38-43.

Actually it gives you a very different view of the field. Yes it's difficult at times when the play is at the other end, but seeing the holes open or the reciever breaking free of coverage, it's really not a bad thing. And you always got the Big Screen to reveiw if you miss something.

Oh, also out of bounds calls are much more obvious as are Field goals.

I've been in Sections 38 or 42, Rows 35-45 the last three years. The only odd about Section 38 is that it is next to the visiting band and many of their fans.  I like Section 42 because it is mostly AU fans.  The best thing in any of these sections is that the Big Screen is in directly in front of you (don't have to turn your head) for seeing the plays when they're at the other end and for the replays.

My seats are in section 38 just above the entrance tunnel.  The view is great but we sit across the isle from the visiting fans, who can occasionally be extremely obnoxious (i.e. Iron Bowl).

Last year I sat in section 40 row 14 and man it was awesome. Of course its kind of hard to tell how many yards were gained on each play. However, like Ahsaaref said seeing the holes open up, and being able to tell whether a field goal is good or not makes them the best seats in the house, imo. That is of course when the action is on your side of the field. I also loved the fact that after each play, I could glance up and watch the replay (unless Auburn is on offense then you better be quick).

I sat on row 4 in section 40 last year and my they was blocked by the cross bar. I would think row 8 at the lowest. For anyone who may know, what is the row right above the cross walk in the lower section?

Well I watch the box and then the spot after the play is over, the math can get difficult on a long play but on shorter plays it's not so bad.

I actually prefer the end zone to the upper decks.  You actually see the game more at the angle the quarterbacks and linebackers see it.

Row 10 and lower is too low.  Row 20 and above works well in the end zone areas.

I was worried about the crossbar. So you think row 8 will get you above it? Maybe row 15 to be safe? Since I live out of state I may only get one game this year, so I want to make sure I have good seats.

I probably wouldn't want to sit below about row 25 if I had a choice.  I used to have season tickets in section 44 (I think) on row 48 near the top and they were good seats for end zone seats.  Alot of people don't like end zone seats but they're some of the more accessible seats in the stadium if you're on a budget.

In your opinion, where are the best seats in the house? Section and row.
