Question for Auburn fans in North Carolina

For any of you guys that live in NC, I have a question. I'll be down in Chapel Hill on September 4th weekend to visit my brother who recently moved down there. I was wondering if the FSN channel down there (which I found out is FSN Carolinas and not FSN South) will carry the Auburn game? I know that weekend UNC plays LSU on ABC, and USCe plays the Thursday night before, so they won't be on FSN that night.

I'm just really excited (just as all of you are) to watch some Auburn football, and hope I get the chance to check them out that weekend. If they aren't on the FSN there, my brother informed me of a sports bar down the road from his place that we could probably catch the game at, although if I could avoid the hassle of going there it'd be a plus.

thanks a bunch guys, and War Eagle!

I live about 50 minutes from UNC and from my experience, I haven't been able to find any Auburn game on FSN for a while (none last season).  If my memory is correct, I think they show a ton of Big Twelve (mainly Texas or Oklahoma) games for some reason.  Good Luck though and hope u enjoy your visit to NC

im in Virginia, and im not in the FSN south viewing area, but every game that came on FSN, was shown on another local type channel. so i would think that could also be the case for when you're there. good luck brother! and WDE :wareagle:

I live about 30 minutes from Chapel Hill and work in Raleigh.  I have Time Warner Digital Cable and I don't recall last year being able to watch any Auburn games on Fox Sports or Jefferson-Pilot/Raycom/Liberty (or whatever they are now), since this is the heart of ACC country.  I generally can get the games on ESPN gameplan that aren't nationally televised.

The Triangle Auburn Alumni Club meets at a place called the High Park Bar and Grill in N. Raleigh to watch games.  You could probably catch the game there.  I watched the LSU game there last year.  The place is nothing fancy, but they had lots of big screen TVs and an area off to the side for the Auburn fans to watch the game.  It's a bit of a drive from Chapel Hill, but might be fun to go if you're looking to hang with other Auburn folks.  Since I have young kids, I'll probably be figuring out how to watch it at home.

Though I live in Alabama, I know Dish has a premium sports package that I recently upgraded to and now I'm able to get all of the FSN channels. Such as FSN Carolina, FSS, FSN Pittsburg, FSN Arizona, etc. (it also includes ESPN Classic, NFL Redzone, NBA TV and several other Pro sports channels). The upgrade costed an extra $7 a month and with football season right around the corner it is going to be well worth it.
