Tiger Growlin 0
Thanks for the update. Always good to know we're in good standing with the top recruits. I have a very good feeling about him in regards to us.
DJ_Hatch 0
VERY NICE ARTICLE, BROOKS! This guy just continues to impress me! It won't bother me a bit, if he doesn't use an official visit to AU. I feel pretty SURE that he will make a couple of games, and get the chance to see us in action! THAT may be enough to put him over the top!!! NCTiger 0
So he feels he has a good enough read on us and wants to use his Auburn visit on some other school ? Understandable, but puts us at a disadvantage as things heat up late in the season unless he will come on his own for an unofficial. War Eagle ! Sidbowman 0
Thanks Brooks - another great read - thanks again for your all hard work. Drew definitely is a unique recruit and the program that snares him will be very fortunate. Interesting to read that his timetable of committing appears to have changed. You'd still think he will drag it out a fair way though. Good read; good recruit.

Understandable, but puts us at a disadvantage as things heat up late in the season unless he will come on his own for an unofficial. War Eagle ! That's EXACTLY what I expect him to do! It's becoming the normal thing to do these days. Kris Frost has said he plans to do the same thing. BUT he also plans to visit AU at least THREE more times for unofficials! These guys have been to AU several times, and plus it's EASY for them to get to Auburn. They want to enjoy the process and travel for free to places that they might not otherwise ever get a chance to visit! I can't say that I blame them one bit! As long as they make it to AU for a game or two, then I don't see it as a big deal!

Tiger Growlin 0
Question about recruits on campus on unofficials the same time as official visitors. I know the schools pay for official visits. My question is are there any differences other than that for the visitors? Do the official visitors get "more" during the visit than the unofficial visitors? Just wondering if the official visitors do anything different on the visit than unofficial visitors. Thanks in advance.
wellsheit 0
I've said it before and I'll say it again. It'd be an insane get if Drew decided to come to Auburn. He and Lyons both would be MUCH more than just football players for this team. Hope he lands wherever is best for him. I hope even more its on the plains! AUmind 0
It's just nice to hear and see a young man in this day and time put God and Family before everything. He will impact and influence more people off the field than he ever will on the field with his faith. Nice read!
auburn#1n04 0
Very professional article Brooks. Drew and Auburn would be a match made in heaven in my opinion. Both just ooze with class. WDE!
Milltiger 0
I do not know this young man at all but if he is true to the words that he speaks, then he has a very bright future. I hope that future is in Auburn but I wish him well regardless of his choice. Thanks for the article!

AU4ME81 0
That was a nice article Mr. Brooks. Mr. Drew is living a life quite different than many of our youth today and I believe his presence would be a positive influence for his fellow students at AUBURN. He seems to have a clear understanding about the recruiting process; therefore, it will be interesting to watch his decision making process as NSD approaches. rollsroyce5 0
Great article on the guy, who in my opinion would be the greatest get for any program this year. He seems to be a very well rounded young brotha who has his priorities in line. Hopefully the right choice for Mr. Drew will be the one we all would be ecstatic about. AUPride4Ever 0
They were showing who all he is considering on ESPN's recruiting show and Auburn was not listed. Perhaps an oversight on ESPN's part????
rollsroyce5 0
They were showing who all he is considering on ESPN's recruiting show and Auburn was not listed. Perhaps an oversight on ESPN's part???? The National media loves to overlook Auburn, as we are not a 'name of state' university. After we get some big time recruits to commit live at some of these all-star games this winter and bring another top 5-8 class things will start to change both on the field and in media coverage and perception. AU4ME81 0
That may be, but I think we need to win a few SEC Championships and a NC to secure the national media's full attention and respect for the AUBURN family.
