au_weagle 0
Who would be the absolute worst person to go down with an injury this season? I am going to go with Ryan Pugh. We really don't have any other experience in the interior line, and he's the quarterback of the line. I would say Ziemba, but with Gayden and Mosely looking to be backups at tackle this year, it wouldn't be a back breaking loss. On defense, I would probably say Neiko Thorpe. Other than the other starter, Washington, there isn't much experience and skill there. Who is our #3 corner. T-Bell? Mike Slade? Some freshman? We might even move the third safety of the returnees to play corner if that happens. Who do you guys think will be the most important people tpo use. I can also see someone putting in Fannin, Adams, Carter, and Bynes.

au_weagle 0
Oh come on, we've had posts about the most valueble players, the deepest positions, etc. This isnt any different.
StatTiger 3,188
Never want to lose a veteran starting center so Pugh would be high on the list. On offense and because of depth issues... I would hate to see the loss of Lutzenkirchen as the true TE role as H-Back and Eric Smith as the true FB role as the H-Back. We have great depth at WR and QB. I would hate to see Fannin go down with an injury leaving a TF (Dyer) and McCalebb as the primary rushers. On defense... One of the starting corners or LB's. followed by Fairley or Blanc at DT and A. Carter at DE.

StatTiger 3,188
Congratulations you narrowed it down to all but one of the starters on defense. I actually placed them in order of concern. Sorry I did not respond to your liking.
wellsheit 0
You need to go buy some 2x4's and a few sheets of plywood and knock on them all night until either your knuckles are rendered useless or the wood is splintered. That is all. K thanks.

WarDamn2010 183
I would say Fannin. Pugh would be huge but Fannin is gonna be a beast and without him, we would have to rely on a freshman and a rb that weighs 171 lbs. Although I guess we could use one of out thousands of receivers if need be...maybe Pugh would be the biggest loss.

Weegle777 78
We have got to stop talking about players possibly getting injured, this is bad mojo! There is great power in the spoken (or in this case, the typed) word! Nothing bad against the OP because I love my Auburn brothers and sisters, but this thread needs to go! Weegle777 78
We don't want to invite bad mojo on our team, do you think our coaches sit around and talk about how many players that we might lose this year due to injury? Of course they don't.
