AUFightingSoldiers 699
That a question that could be debated forever... I personally think COD4 is the best war/shooter ever, but a lot of people won't agree with that. Many people would argue that the original Halo is the greatest ever because it took shooters to a whole new level. The you have games like Final Fantasy 6, 7, and 9 that have literally been played all over the world and are some of the best sellers EVER. Anyway I'd go: 1. Metal Gear Solid (if you haven't played it you NEED to) 2. Cod 4 3. Metal Gear Solid 3 4. Final Fantasy 7 and 9 (ah the memories) 5. Super Mario Bros. 3 6. NCAA Football Series 7. Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3 8. Medal of Honor Series 9. Prince of Persia Sands of Time/Warrior Within 10. Mortal Kombat 1/2/3 (introduced greatest fighting series ever) There are SO many more going through my head. You, sir, take the cake for hardest question of the day. Super Mario 64 (really good memories from this game just everything about it) 3. GTA Vice City (good memories; Just finding stuff to ramp, causing chaos, taking a woman to the beach in your ride and watch the car rock back and forth just sayin. ) 4. Halo 5. Donkey Kong Country (Awesome on super nintendo!) 6. Mario Kart and Diddy Kong racing (fun times playing these two) 7. Fallout 3 (VERY well put together game. SO much to the game. Its endless if you want it to be.) 8. Red Dead Redemption 9. COD MW2 (only because online multiplayer; The campaign was great but short)

Auburntiger341345162773 0
the first halo was the best halo. they have gotten worse as they go. i like the CODs made by infinity ward not the ones made by activision. NCAA series is good but they are always the same and i havnt bought one since they took away create a team because that was the best feature to the game. Assassins creed series is excellent, love both cant wait for the third. super smash bros on Nintendo 64 is the best game ever made though

keekee 0
This is a toughy but a goodie. 1 World of Warcraft - Simply put the greatest substitute for drugs ever. I have logged months of actual in game time to this one. There is nothing bad to say about it other than the sink of time required. You have multiple classes working together to kill each other or bad guys. Or you can roam the thousands upon thousands of single player quest or just go fishing. 2 NCAA football series - the dynasty mode is my favorite. I love taking Akron or Hawaii or UNLV to heights unachievable in real life. 3 Final Fantasy 7 - Greatest RPG ever. Story is flawless gameplay was great before age took over. Nothing like queing up dual KotRT and mimicX2 and walking away for 2 minutes only to come back to a dead bad guy. 4 Legend of Zelda - my first taste of gaming will always be dear to my heart. I remember my uncle bought me a NES and then this game. He would run around and I would watch. I was probably 5 years old but it is one of my most vivid memories of childhood. 5 Heavy Rain - This is a new one but it really sticks with me. Not much replay value here but the first go through grips you like a movie. I couldn't put it down. There isn't much gameplay really you walk through events and the story really is effected by your choices to the point main characters can die or get arrested. AMAZING highly recommend. 6 - GTA III - Probably one of the biggest leaps in gameplay on consoles. Before this one open world really didn't exist for console gamers. I recall getting trashed in the apt playing this while listening to Lazlo who got kicked of the rock station while destroying the town. 7 Gran Turismo 3 - Greatest racing game ever can't wait for part 5. The GTR is the best car in game in case you are wondering. Much like in real life. 8 Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Loved it. 9 The Sims - I loved the first one. The second one was good. The 3rd was crap. 10 Diablo 2 - Dungeon crawler with massive replayability. Blizzard is the best.

The SandMntTiger 9
This is more or less a chronological list of games that wowed me growing up through the years. 1. Tecmo Bowl/Super Tecmo Bowl. (Bo Jackson is still running wild on some old NES system somewhere. Also I scarred my little Bro pretty bad on Super. He almost beat me once, almost). 2. Mike Tyson's Punch Out. (I can still remember the code to fight Mike Tyson better than my own SSN 007 373 5963). 3. Bill Walsh's College Football. (First time I ever got to use Bo Jackson in an Auburn uniform). 4. Evander Holyfield's Real Deal Boxing. (I about pissed my pants when I saw the boxers blinking and breathing. Very hightech in its day). 5. 1st NCAA Football for Playstation 1. (Again blew away by the graphics). 6. Madden 1998. (Eventhough I hated the Broncos (especially Elway), Elway, Terrell Davis, and Shannon Sharpe were unstopable. I believe my record vs my roomates was well over 100-1. After the 1 loss they would not plat me for over a month). 7. 1st NCAA football for the PS2. (Again blown away by the graphics). 8. Gran Turismo PS2. (Never been much of a mechanic. However, I could tell you how to set your car up on each track, all the way down to the stiffness of the springs). 9. Fight Night PS2 (Me and my dad have had some epic battles on this game). 10. Grand Theft Auto PS3. (Anyone else lost hours upon hours just driving around ramping stuff and running people over?). 11. NCAA Football PS3. (Like the other system versions, I was stunned by the graphics when I first saw this game. And though it really became stale the last few years, NCAA 11 has renewed my love).
