Tiger Walk

I'm going to the Auburn / LSU game this fall with my Dad, and we really want to view the Tiger Walk.  Since I haven't been to a Tiger Walk since the 1980's I could use some advice.  Where is the best place to stage to view the event?  How long before the Tiger Walk do you need to be in position if you want to get right up to where the players are coming through?  Thanks.

Before the LSU game you should probably be there about an hour or so before if you wanna be on the front row. Maybe even a little earlier. It gets congested quickly. I usually stand closer toward the baseball field to get away from the intersection and the recruits/plainsmen and others that stand closer to the stadium entrance!

Just my 2-cents worth. War Eagle!

I like to go a little further away from the baseball field passed the motorhomes where there is this guy who is always parked by the intersection in the old 70's van decked out in AU everything, and its blasting Auburn music and Jim Fyffe calls.

Thanks.  Just to clarify, is the path/route marked by cones or barricades so it can easily be found an hour + prior?

yep they have metal barricades that mark the route and they put the barricades up early

It starts at the corner of W. Samford Avenue and S. Donahue.  We usually stand on W Samford and see them come off the buses.  With TT, you could greet them coming off the bus, but now, the coaches wives/family are right there and they baracade us away.  But you're still close enough to get a high five from the players :)

I can't wait!!!!!!
