Last season, Auburn had NINE 100-yard rushing games by an individual player. It was the most since 2005.

2000: 10

2001: 4

2002: 8

2003: 7

2004: 9

2005: 9

2006: 4

2007: 2

2008: 2

2009: 9

How many will Auburn have in 2010? I believe we will have 10.

For me i just see the ball spread around way too much for us to have more then 9, but who knows...

as explosive as the offense can be, if they get on fire we may have 2 or 3 hit over 100 a few times this season in the same game... im just going to stick to 9...

Stat, you may know this for sure, but didnt Malzahn have Felix and Mcfadden over 100 in a couple games while he was there?

It happened 3 times that year. (Auburn, La. Monroe and LSU)

I see the primary RB from each game to reach the 100-yard mark 5-7 times in 2010. I can see Newton having two 100-yard games. Trovon Reed could pop 100-yards during a game. I can see also see 2 RB's going over 100 on 2 occasions.

Malzahn had 13 of these in 2006 at Arkansas,  without as good an offensive line, for a 10-4 Ark team that defeated us when we were #2 in the country...  Darren McFadden rushed 284 times for 1647 yards, while Felix Jones rushed 154 times for 1168 yards.  Michael Smith, the third leading rusher, rushed 35 times for 247 yards.  Incidentally, Arkansas passed for 2093 yards that year, with two QB's splitting time.

I think we may equal that performance, and I'd predict 5 100 yd games for Mario, 4 for O-Mac, 3 for Dyer, and one for Cam, plus one someone else, perhaps a receiver like T-Zach (if he breaks two long reverses in a single game).

Game by game individual rushing stats....

McFadden 89, 73, 182, 84, 181, 219,  129, 65, 71, 145 (AU), 112, 71, 184, 42 = 7 100 yd games

Jones 150, 57, 137, 38, 72, 53, 141, 51, 106, 104 (AU), 65, 78, 68, 48 = 5 100 yd games

Smith 116 (v SE MO St) = 1 100 yd game

TOTAL = 13 100 yd games

Im going to say that we will see 11

GA, I'm with you...but I'm a little more optimistic than that.  I say 13-14.  Against our non-conf opponents (with the exception of maybe Clemson) we'll have 2 at a minimum for each game...that's 6 to start with.  Then I think we have one each for all but three of the remaining games...at a minimum.  You get to 13-14 pretty quick.  DWWD!

If the Gus Bus is running at full speed.  So if we have 80+ snaps on the offensive side of the ball.  I think we will beat last years numbers.  In the 4th quarter when everyone on the opposing D is dead tired and we run up the middle for a 10 yrd gain.  I think we will all do this  ---->
