does anyone have the link to that ncaa page that shows all of the NCAA recognized national champs? I need it to prove a point to a friend

They haven't awarded D1 championships but they have recognized the awards presented by "recognized selectors".  The link to the page on the NCAA's website was down when I tried going to it but the wiki link below has the same info that the old NCAA page did.

So using Bammer Logic (illogic?, thirtogic?)...and according to the wiki site that lists all recognizers...We can claim 1993, 1983, 1957, and 1913.  I don't think I missed any (I should throw in 2004 as well, but I don't want to dwell too much on the past). I am pretty happy with that, but what matters is this year.

Not to discourage you from making a point with your friend, but trying to argue legitimate fact about bammers championships is an exercise in futility... I forget where I read it, but a new excuse for claiming a few titles awarded years later, was that northern media bias against southern schools at the time prevented bammer from being awarded for those years. Apparently it's like righting a wrong.  :laugh:
