Recently as the season approached, my beautiful 52 inch Zenith HD TV started having blue spots appear on the screen. Now I have had this problem once before and the fine folks at LG (who bought Zenith out) came out and fixed my TV for free (eventhough my warranty had already expired)! However getting it fixed a 2nd time for free was out of the question.

Now the spots were not as near as bad as the first time around and they actually don't even appear till the TV has been on for 3-4 hours. I myself had just got use to fact that I was going to have to just deal with it as the TV picture wasn't unbarable to me (and we also have a newborn coming in less than 3 weeks). However, last weekend, my lovely wife takes it upon herself and tells me the is noway we are going to watch football this fall with such a distracting image on the screen and it was time to buy a new big screen (I had never even mentioned it). I could only look at her for a second before a few tears started appearing in the corner of my eyes  :'(. Now as of today, I'm the proud owner of a Samsung 50 inch HD plasma TV! All I can say is God bless southern women and their love for CFB. Btw gentlemen, if you find a woman out there with mentality marry her as quickly as you can. Your life will be much better for it.
