Until confirmation by link, I am going to assume rumor and if true, I am going to wish him a speedy recovery.  No way I am going to be happy that a 20 year old gets hurt no matter who he plays for.

It was just reported on Sportscenter as well.

No rumor.  It was reported on WJOX that Saban  released the statement.  I do agree, though, that I hope for the best for him.

It wouldn't surprise me if Ingram comes back to lead bammer in rushing after the injury and wins the sympathy Heisman vote again for "coming back after an injury." Turds have that kind of blind luck.

He can sit out all year and still go in the 1st round.  I wish him a full recovery.  Its not like they are hurting for depth.

PLEASE NOTE!!  All the freaking out people have been doing about nagging injuries on OUR roster.  These are the kind you worry about.

Well this will give Trent the nod in my opinion. He is a better running back than Ingram IMO which is scary.

I hear this enough from bammers that every player that was on the bench last year could have very well have been better than the one starting. Have they brain washed this in to our thinking of them as well?

If they are better than the starter they would be the starter

"Ingram, a junior, hurt his knee late in practice on Monday. Saban said this morning's minor surgery was successful and performed by Dr. Lyle Cain and Dr. James Andrews.

The normal recovery for a knee scope is a few weeks."

I say go ahead and cue up the excuses when bammer loses to Penn St now.... They will be making the same excuses Tx made when McCoy went down. I wanna patent "we would have won if Ingram Hadn't been hurt". I will make a fortune every time a bammer utters that phrase.

I don't see them losing to a Penn State team that doesn't even know who their starting QB is......

I think what they mean by that is that Dinky doesn't know enough about coaching to play the best players.  He is holding them out in case the ones that aren't as good get hurt.  See how sneaky he is......

This won't effect their offense what so ever. Richardson is more than capable of carrying that running game. Heck he could carry the entire offense.

Get better soon, Mark!  I have Bama +10 over PSU.

We certainly don't want any excuses for Auburn's victory in the Iron Bowl, as well.
