Can we please get a confirmation or have this crap laid to rest?  Stevens and Bynes IMO are the two most important pieces of our defense.

Yeah with all this stuff swirling around I just called a classmate/former player who is still working for the team and he acted like nothing was going on...... he just said that everyone should, "Go ahead and get their popcorn for the season because they're about to put on a show."

Every single time something bad happens to a tide player, rumors start about our players being hurt/kicked off the team/suspended.  It's not a coincidence.

My Dad always told me that every time 'bama started to get investigated by the NCAA, we would go on probation. I have never heard him call them 'bama or the tide or anything. When it comes to them he just calls them "those cheating ba$^@&ds".

Exactly what i was thinking

I know I didn't think it added up at all either, but I have heard otherwise. We will just have to wait it out like anything else I guess. We'll find out on Saturday for sure. Until then, I'm not sure who know what.

lets just look at this real quick: Craig Stevens hasn't been suspended since he has been at auburn yet he gets suspended now.......doubtful.  Demond I strongly doubt too, and as of now, its all just rumors that get started and nobody can refute them because they get started so late.

its never good when it takes the mods a while to respond but it is late so i really hope thats why.Pitt got upset and Hawaii is giving USC all they got.This has been a great opening day then i hear this crap.

The reliable source I like to read says hes looking into the issue, but that he hasn't heard anything about this and he very much doubts any of it is true.

These rumors have yet to be officially discredited from what I've seen, but I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

I completely believe Cam wrecked his scooter, Stevens was suspended, Mincy kicked off the team, and Washington was hurt/suspended all in the same day......

yea, i know its late, but i really wish i could get some info.  Luckily nothing has been posted on tigerdroppings.  I know the site isn't that great, but if there is a substantial rumor that has any legs to it, it will get posted over there and it hasn't.  unfortunately that is all i have to go on right now so i have to make due.  I hope to get some good news over here because this is really the only reliable site.

I hate the internet. Unless u get a link or hear it from coach Chizik dont buy it as being true. no way a story of this magnitude breaks at midnight 2 days before the first game..

If it was true it would have been reported by now. I just don't see either player having done anything to get suspended. In my opinion this is a no story and not worth discussing any further. War Eagle

i've got a friend that is on the bunker and says that the rumors about cam, washington, and mincy are false.  he doesn't have any thing definitive on stevens yet so we won't know till later.  TIFWIW

I just texted a friend of mine who is on the team and I told him that I had heard rumors that Craig had been suspended for 3 games and he told me that he didn't know anything about it.  He is a good friend and always gives me the inside scoop IF he knows it...he's not exactly a biggg player so sometimes he can be out of the breaking news loop.  But SURELY, if it was announced in practice he would have known and told me.  So, take it as you want, but this is 100% truthful post and HOPEFULLY it is good news.  War Damn.
