I thought our O-line played pretty solid tonight. They did allow some penetration on what looked to be breakdowns, but we cranked out over 600 yds of offense. Can't really complain about anything offensively other than the penalties. The D deserves some criticism though.

Don't get me wrong, I loved the big plays. I want to see us be able to drive the field like Ark St did on us. Some of those big plays may have turned out differently versus SEC Ds. The majority of college FB teams show the most improvement between game #1 and #2. If we played MSU tonight I would feel a bit better, but just wonder how Ark St DL & OL stacks us against SEC competition. Very happy with the win, but still concerned with D.

I was pretty impressed by the pass-blocking most of the night.  It seemed like Newton had forever to throw the ball.

Arky State's D-Line looked good tonight.  They were really running to the ball and seemed to arrive angry at times. Will have to wait and see how they perform in their next few games before we can know if they are that good or just overachieved tonight.
