Impact Freshman

The Duke

Let me know what freshman you thought made the biggest impact in the game.

I am having a tough time trying to decide between Dyer or Sanders. Craig Sanders on Special Teams was in the middle of everything, and had some good play at DE. Dyer was electric and has some wiggle. Let me know your thoughts.

Dyer and Sanders were certainly oustanding last night. I thought Curry looked pretty good for the most part. Btw, I Auburn's DT position is going to be awesome for years to come with Whitakar and Carter. Don't know if it was my TV or what but everytime Kenneth Carter made a tackle or was in on one, I heard a loud POP on my TV.  :)

Have to say Dyer but Sanders was the one who caught my eye. On TV, he was in on every special teams play. I will say he doesn't look like a DE yet. Looks more like a big FS. A year of training will do him wonders. He's going to be a good one.

I thought Dyer had a huge impact. For a freshman to get the most carries at RB for an SEC school

With that said, Sanders had a HUGE game on special teams. After he made his final tackle on special teams, he got a huge hug from CJB. So it is a tough decision

Dyer and Sanders for sure.  Sanders was the first one down on KOs.  My question is though when he gains the 25-30 lbs he needs to play DE will he still be the first one down!?!?!!?

I think most inspiring with the opportunity given was Sanders. If his play isn't an example to all who plays the game I don't know what is. What Dyer did was great and I am stoked about what he means to our team, but watching Sanders fly around was the epitome of Doing What We Do Mantra of the team.

Its funny that people seem to say this often. He must be one whose pads make him look smaller because if you saw him in person you would realize he is massive. Besides Whitaker he is probably the most physically ready to play right now of the freshmen DLinemen and is already one of the strongest people on the team.

I thought he looked small last night too, but in retrospect, I think it was a jedi mind trick.  He is wearing the number 13.  You expect a DB or a QB, not a 250 lb DE.  Once I realized that was Sanders I was shocked!

Dyer and Sanders were most notable. Whitaker, Curry and Lemonier.

Bates I know this is his second year but for first time playing LB he was good. He just needs to play more and learn more and he will be awesome.

:believe:
