I mean, they are in a higher classification than JSU, right?  They are about as good as San Jose State, right?

First game jitters and brain farts against a pretty good team last night still led to a 52-26 win. And if we were executing better we probably would have scored 70 to their 13.

Improvements should be and will be made, but gee, you have got to absolutely love the potential of this team when they get it all together.

I would say ASU is better than SJSU. I've never heard of SJSU before personally, and I have heard of ASU. What conferense is SJSU even in?

ASU and SJSU is even. Overall, the game can be summerized like this: Great offensive game, poor defensive game. And Im sure that there are people on this message board who will yell at me for pointing this out. We had a few first game problems like the fumbles or an occassional lack of communication which is normal and will be fixed. Then we had some major problems on defense that has nothing to do with first game jitters. These problems need to be fixed in a hurry. Overall, I say the game was decent, but we need to improve on some things.

SJSU is in the WAC. They went 2-10 last year and LA Tech, who we beat pretty well, scored about 50 on them. ARK State is much better than San Jose state.

ASU is a better team that SJSU.  ASU isn't great, but they almost beat Iowa, Louisville, and Troy last year. They actually beat Texas A&M two years ago.

That being said.. Our defense still looked horrible last night, and better improve by Miss St., or we're in trouble. If our defense can even play average against Miss St. we should be able to win comfortably.

Arky State would kill San Jose St in a head to head game.  Arky state has a very good team this year with lots of Seniors and Juniors and don't be surprised if they go bowling this year...mark it down.
