Some good things on the D

WE all know what didn't look good last night.  Let's look at what did look good.  I counted at least 11 D linemen that saw action and not just on special teams.  There were at least 6 LBs and 6DBs that played not counting the last defensive and offensive series.  Those are good things. 

We blitzed more Saturday than I think we did all last year.  That will cause OCs to plan for that, something they didn't have to last year.  We were able to force 8 punts.  We stopped them deep several times. 

Is there room for imporvement?  ABSOLUTELY.  Is there reason to panic?  Not yet.  Do we still have the rigth personnel?  In my opinion, we still have a CB who shouldn't be playing ( nickname Toast) but that's not my call.  Overall, the defense have some holes and not much time to fix them but we played a lot of guys and looked good in spots and those are NOT bad things.

our front four got pressure with only a bull rush we did absolutely no stunting or anything else all night straight power was the tatcic and was effective.
