walker77 0
Not a big deal... There is a high school in south Texas that has a Jersey Cow as their mascot...called the fighting Jerseys...whatever that means... I think being called "cow college", with us actually having a good Agricultural School doesn't mean much... But, "Fighting Jerseys"??? That would bother me... bwillaub 0
I love the T's! It's kinda like "IN YOUR FACE, BAMMERS"! This "cow college" just whipped your arses for six years in a row!! You are overreacting.
oldaufeller 367
This goes without saying for intelligent people (like those on this board) but you may have to explain it slowly to a bama fan. There is some perception that being a farmer equates to stupid. We may perceive it is a put down. I am an engineer, however on the side I own a timber farm and many members of my wife's family are commercial [food crop] farmers. It's funny that when you stand back and look at the counties with the lowest unemployment and highest financial stability, they are agricultural communities. It wasn't farmers who shifted their debt to overseas corporate shell companies so their sec filings would inflate their stock values. It isn't farmers who out sourced to India for next years planting. I don't "tend the fields" but I got a whole lot of respect for a man/woman who gets up at four and puts in a hard days work for an honest pay. And BTW, many farms are quite technically accomplished. Thank a farmer. 'Nuff said.

Jackson-Sullivan 0
Some are offended and say we should have never made the shirt but I know a lot of very proud ag. students who love them.

I think he should have a worse punishment than a kick to the gonads. I think we should kidnap him and make him play golf. After that he would not bother Cam again. TXaubie 546
I live in a small Texas town (used to be small anyways). Where in the schools the ag. department is a huge deal. Growing up in Dallas I have to admit I never thaught I would say this, but I love it out here and can think of only one place in the world that I would rather raise my kids. I think everybody on this board knows where that would be. OldAUFellar just reminded me why I like it so much here. War Eagle!!!

Aeronaut 0
What I don't like is giving bammers, and the dead carcass of bahr enough worth to warrant a response. The best way is to tell them they are not worth our time, energy, or a response.

Grads from this "Cow College" build your roads, feed the world, have been to the far reaches of space and back, keep your pets healthy, run multi-national corporations, and so much more. I`m pretty damn proud of this "Cow College". I know how some of you folks feel and full well understand. I`d rather be from a cow college than from t_ _ dville myself. The SandMntTiger 9
Maybe its just me but I don't like anything that gives credence to what a dead, drunken, womanizing bear labeled Auburn with. Nothing wrong with being proud to be an Ag school though.
walker77 0
Hey folks, I took some Ag courses (Horticulture) while @ AU... Made more $$$$ from what I learned there than in all my other subject areas put together... Agree with Pops though...I really don't like to be defined by others...
