One of my Auburn friends kinda brought me down to earth today. He reminded me that we are 2-0, and not 0-2 this year. I've been a little down on this team all year, and maybe I should just yell War Eagle, and be proud of where we are right now!

Still I cant help but feel, we are depending way to much on one player, and we might be better off changing things up a bit, and leaning on some other things, like our non existent running game, and throwing the ball down field. I'm sorry, I love this team 100%, I BLEED ORANGE and BLUE, but are we not cutting our nose off here to spite our face????

Cam is a great player. I love to watch him do his thing, but these are the Auburn Tigers, and it's WAR DAMN EAGLE not War Cam Eagle.

If we don't get it right this week I'm very afraid of what is to come. Gus you da man here I sure hope you know what it is your doing. somebody isn't making the reads, and there are fingers already being pointed. I hope you can fix it before it gets broken for sure.

like my buddy said though 2-0 sure beats 0-2 WAR EAGLE!!!!

I really hope Malzahn has hidden his offense the past few weeks so he can bust it out against Clemson and SC.

... you, me, and every other single auburn fan that makes Auburn the fifth largest city in Alabama.

We started last year with 5 wins .

It was loosing 5 of the last 7 games that killed us.

We were on top of the world the first 5 games, before Arky beat us, then kentucky?, then LSU. we got the week off playing Furman just to get beat by UGA and then Bama..

Awwww  "How great Todd was ". and Franklin was some kind of genious , mastermind , guru too!

we were all saying it at (5-0) Now Im glad they are both gone.

Gus is and will be measured by the product he puts on the field . I gambl that it will be good.

Right now Gus and Chiz are 5 and 5 out of their last 10 games.

Now subtract the cream puffs wins ...

The President and AD of AU are very aware how much people like me matter.

I want wins. No matter how, no matter what, except reggie bush stuff.

Also congratz to my brothers for not gettin any negitive press this summer for our team!

Im glad to see that AU men are AU Gentlmen.

I liked the first part of your post much better than the rest. Just remember we are 2-0 and every game must be played. You are being realistic in your perception of things, but may have been a little too optomistic in your expectations. Cam is still learning and the rest of the team is learning to play with him as the QB. They should get better each week (and I am in no way saying other teams won't get better). Anyone who thinks Malzahn is not working hard with Cam and the rest of the O is crazy. He has shown us what he and his offense are capabnle of. There is no reason to think he just forgot what he is doing or all of the sudden became a bad coach. I expect we will see improvement tomorrow and for every game we have coming. Relax. Enjoy. And just say........

I don't know why some people keep saying the O has no running game. You guys do realize Auburn is leading the league in rushing don't you? Cam didn't do that all by himself. Cam, Dyer, and Omac are all in the top 9 in rushing. I do agree that the passing game will need to get better, but they are 2-0. If Cam leads the team in rushing all year long and Auburn goes undefeated, will you guys still complain? Texas went to the NC game, twice, with their QB as their leading rusher on the team. Cam is a special player. I say just win baby!

Not to mention, I have been let down once or twice.

Jmo, but in noway should last years finish be pinned on CGC and CGM. Are people really that quick to forget that Auburn played all of last year without 3/4 of its secondary and had 3 healthy scholarship LBs? They were FCS teams that had more defensive depth than Auburn last year. Also when you consider the fact that they took over a 5-7 team that had its 2 best defensive players leave a year early to the NFL and inherited a divided locker room, its easy to see CGC and company have brought this team a long way in the year and a half they have been here. Btw, I don't get why anyone would be complaining about CGM. Seriously, does anyone not remember Auburn's offensive production the 3 years prior to his arrival? One more thing, for those that want to believe Auburn is depending to much on its QB (who imo is the most dynamic player in the SEC) Vince Young decided to check in and tell everyone, "hi." Besides that though Omac and Dyer are averaging 141 on the ground together.

When you live life with your glass half empty, it does not take long to focus upon the shortcomings rather than the positives.  Six weeks, six months, and six years from today, AUBURN started the 2010 football season 2-0.  Playing one game at a time, I hope this time tomorrow we are standing at 3-0.

War Eagle!! everyone.  A win is a win, and we live to play again!  Every other team that is less than 2-0 at this point in the season would gladly change places with AUBURN, so suck it up and learn to enjoy the good times with the bad.  We have more football to play and it starts later today.

The way I look at it, we could be Ole Miss, 1-1 on the year with a loss to Jacksonville St, where I went to school, or maybe I should say I was enrolled there. Or we could be Va. Tech 0-2 with one of our losses coming to  a Div. 1-AA team. I much prefer where AU is as opposed to where these other two teams are.

And just to remind you, we are undefeated and in FIRST place in the SEC West.

I can remember other years where we rode the coattails of one player - does the name Bo ring a bell?
