Well, Week 3 is over, and most of our commits are having AUsome seasons, thus far! Here's a look at how they did in their games this week, along with their “season totals” so far this year...

Angelo Blackson – This week Blackson and the Red Lions faced a tough Interboro squad who had schemed their offense to totally take the big 300-lb DT out of the equation on defense! They cut, chopped, push, and pulled him the entire 1st half, and kept the play away from him, all while trying to establish a running game. It was the Red Lion offense that gave Blackson the ability to show off his “speed rush” in the 2nd half, as they got up big and forced the opponent into a passing situation for the rest of the half! Blackson took advantage to the tune of 6 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 2.5 tackles for loss, and several QB-hurries, as he helped preserve his team’s 41-27 win.

Season totals: 7 tackles (5 solo), 2 sacks.

Sammie Coates – Helped Leroy jump out to a big 1st half lead by catching 2 passes, both for TD’s, for 76 yds in a 49-12 blowout win over J.U. Blackson. Coates also had 1 kickoff return of 44 yds.

Season totals: 11 catches for 241 yds (21.9 avg.) and 3 TD’s

Jaylon Denson – Wasn’t needed very much, as he only caught 1 pass for 10 yds and did not play very much in the 2nd half in Hoover’s 50-0 blowout win over Thompson.

Season totals: 15 receptions for 273 yds (18.2 avg.) and 3 TD’s

Reese Dismukes – Had an AUsome game, as he helped Spanish Fort jump out to a 27-0 lead in the 1st Quarter and go on to blow out Mary Montgomery 48-21! For the game Reese had an O-lineman grade of 92% (almost perfect!), and he had almost double-digit “pancake blocks” again, as well! The Toros are 3-1 on the year now.

Season totals: Has O-lineman grades of 84%, 74%, 68% and 92%, and 3 dozen or so pancake blocks.

Kiehl Frazier –  Took on huge rival Greenwood H.S. in a game that he had a monster performance, albeit in a losing effort in last year. This time, it was Frazier and the Saints who prevailed though, as he led them to a 48-27 blowout win! For the game, Kiehl had another “Superman-like” performance with 31 rushes for 261 yds and 2 TD’s, plus he passed the ball 16 times with 12 completions for 193 yds and 4 TD’s. The Saints are now 2-1.

Season totals: Passing: 37 completions on 63 attempts for 692 yds (230.67 yds/gm), with 10 TD’s and only 1 interception. Rushing: 60 rushes for 402 yds (134 yds/gm) and 6 TD’s.

Justin Garrett – Continued to dominate, and like many of the other AU commits this week, did not have to play much in the 2nd half, as Tucker wins big 68-0 over Chamblee! Garrett had multiple tackles on the night, several QB-hurries, and pass defenses as well. He also continued to contribute on the offensive side of the ball playing some WR.

Season stats:  Update later

Devin Gaulden – Was held to only 2 tackles in a 7-3 hard-fought victory against a very good Cardinal Gibbons team. Gaulden has not had very many opportunities on defense, as every team so far has made it a point to stay away from him in the passing game. That proved to be a mistake this game though, as Gaulden’s fellow DB, Duchein Hicks had 2 interceptions, 1 that sealed the win in the game! Gaulden’s tight coverage also allowed his University team’s D-line to pressure and sack the opposing QB all night.

Season totals: 6 tackles, 1 pass break-up, 1 and forced fumble.

Keymiya Harrell –  Did not play due to an ankle injury. But his Dallas County team did win 26-6 against Holt H.S.

Season totals: 14 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and 1 sack.

Chris Landrum – Out with a broken ankle. His #3 Sweetwater team did come up with a huge win 21-12 over #1 Linden, though to improve to 3-1 on the season.

Season totals: 9 tackles in 1 game.

Izauea Lanier – Redshirting this year.

Jabrian Niles – Continuing this week’s theme, Niles played mostly just the 1st half in Davidson's 35-13 blowout against Blount H.S. Even with the short amount of PT though, Niles was able to amass 9 tackles (4 solo), 1 tackle for loss, and 5 QB-hurries.

Season totals: 21 tackles (10 solo), 3 tackles for loss, 1 sack, and 19 QB-hurries.

Thomas O'Reilly –  Off this week.

Season totals: O’Reilly has played center in every game so far this year, and has had O-lineman grades of 76%, 43%, and 78% in his team’s 3 games.

Jonathan Rose –  Led Leeds to 4-0 start in their 27-3 win over Wellborn. On defense, Rose had 4 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 3 pass deflections, and helped hold Wellborn’s offense to 143 yds rushing and 0 yds passing! But it was on offense this week, where Rose REALLY stood out, as he had 2 TD’s, both in the 1st half! The 1st was on a 44-yd run, and the 2nd was on a 23-yd pass reception.

Season totals: 19 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, and 5 pass deflections

Anthony Swain – Helped Gadsden City remain undefeated at 4-0 in a 24-13 victory over Huffman H.S. Swain had 6 tackles (2 solo) for the game.

Season totals: 14 tackles (4 solo), 1 sack, 2 QB-hurries, 1 pass break-up, and 1 interception that he returned for a TD.

C.J. Uzomah –  Continued to lead North Gwinnett to a title with a 33-20 win over Collins Hill H.S. C.J. continued to show his versatility as he played QB, where he completed all 4 passes he attemted for 39 yds, he had 4 rushes for 22 yds, and he played receiver, where he had 4 receptions for 106 yds and 1 TD.

Season totals: At QB, he has completed 24 out of 29 passes for 234 yds to go with 2 TD’s, he has rushed 23 times for 74 yds, and he has 9 catches for 170 yds and 1 TD.

Stay tuned for more to come with the performances of some of AU's top remaining prospects!

Thanks, DJ. Our future is in good hands.  The intriquing one is Gaulden; not much to go on, but I bet we'll be talking about him a lot in  the next 4 or 5 years

Thanks DJ and keep up the good work!! I believe Blackson is my favorite recruit so far, he sounds like an monster on the line!  It sounds like Gaulden is going to be a special player as well.  These coaches know what they are doing!!

The one thing i do want to see is some of our DB's getting some INT's.  I know they are barely getting thrown at, but i'm getting annoyed this year without a single interception by our secondary  :dunno:  and hopefully these guys will be able to help in the future.

Gaulden definitely seems to be gaining some respect from the teams they are playing and is sounding like he is holding whatever receiver he guards on an island.

If you have access to a Scout account, check out THIS VIDEO interview with Blackson! It was taken after his game this past week, and in it he talks about how he has adapted to teams double-teaming him and trying EVERYTHING they can to neutralize him, but he says that he just keeps adapting and getting better! He is going to be a VERY special player! And you are RIGHT about Gaulden! Unless, he has a VERY good showing at one of the All-Star games after the season, I doubt that he gets a very high ranking by the recruiting sites, b/c they just aren't going to have much film to go by. As I said, teams are staying away from his side of the field, and he's just not had the opportunities so far to put up big numbers, but I believe that he is going to definitely be a "sleeper" in this class!

Again FINALLY, here's a look at how some of Auburn's TOP remaining prospects did in their WEEK 4 match-ups! P.s. Sorry for taking SO long with the updates, guys! It’s VERY difficult to gather all of their stats!

Demetrius Hart – Helped Dr. Phillips remain undefeated at 4-0 in a 49-0 shellacking of Olympia HS! Hart is proving that he is deserving of his #1 APB ranking (Rivals), as it seems that he improves EVERY week! The night before taking his official visit to AU to witness an AUsome comeback win in OT against Clemson, Hart went off in his game to the tune of 224 yds rushing on just 18 carries and 3 TD’s (17, 7, and 88) rushing, to go with his 5 receptions for 68 yds and 1 more TD to make 4 on the night!

Mike Blakely – Blakely and the Canes got their first real test this week, as they took their #2 National ranking on the road cross-town to take on Bradenton Southeast HS. And after falling behind 24-7 to their rivals, it looked like Manatee was on their way to their first loss. But that’s when #7 took the game over and literally carried the Hurricanes to a 31-24 victory with 2 TD’s in the 4th Quarter! For the game, Blakely had 21 carries for 155 yds and 3 TD’s rushing (3, 7, and 14) to go along with 2 catches for 41 yds and 1 TD (20), 1 fumble, and 1 kickoff return for 13 yds.

Andrew Buie – After coming off a tough OT loss last week, Buie and his Trinity Christian team were down heading into this tough game with Madison County. This time though it would not be close, as they lost 42-16. Buie again played multiple positions in the game, including QB, where he was just 1 for 5 passing with 7 yds to go with 14 carries for just 48 yds rushing (14 long).

Ahmad Christian – Christian had a better game than his teammate, Buie in the 42-16 loss to Madison County, but it was still not enough. Christian does continue to have amazing numbers though in every game, as this week he had 8 carries for 94 yds, which included a long TD run of 63 yds. He also had 1 reception for 7 yds, and 4 kickoff returns for 76 yds. He also had 8 tackles (6 solo) on defense. Both Christian and Buie traveled to Auburn the next day to see the Tigers win against Clemson.

Gregory Robinson – Played well again in a 49-12 loss to Dutchtown, the #4 team in 4A.

Antonio Richardson – Paved the way for his team to achieve 183 yds passing and 179 yds rushing and added 1 tackle on defense in Ensworth’s 35-14 win over McCallie HS.

Ray Drew – Fell short in OT 20-13 to fall to 2-1 for the year. The crazy thing is that ALL three of Drew’s Thomas County Central team’s games have come down to the FINAL PLAY! And the last two have been in OT! Drew continues to impress though on defense as he has had several tackles, sacks, and QB-hurries.

Xzavier Ward – Helped Colquitt County improve to 2-3 with 34-14 win over Warner Robbins. Ward and his team came in averaging 422 yds of total offense in their first 4 games, and dominated again to the tune of 333 this week!

Gabriel Wright – Battled cross-town rival LaGrange HS to a 21-3 win to help Carver stay undefeated at 5-0. Wright and the Carver defense held their opponent to -1 yds rushing on the night, and the 3 points scored by LaGrange was the FIRST points scored on them all season! More individual stats for Wright later.

Erique Florence – Totally dominated Charles Henderson HS for a 40-0 win. Florence showed his athleticism once again with 218 yds rushing on 19 attempts and 2 TD’s to go with 7 for 12 passing for 88 yds and another TD!

Robenson Therezie – Lost a VERY close game 30-29 against Norland, in a game that saw Therezie rush 15 times for 178 yds, including one spectacular 96-yd TD run. Unfortunately though, the talented Miami-area prospect was stopped 3 straight times for a total loss of 17 yds, after his team had reached their opponent’s 7 yd line at the end of the game with a chance to take the lead! The loss takes Jackson to 2-1 on the year.

Marcus Roberson – Not many teams have been brave enough to test Roberson in the passing game, and there’s a reason for that. Boyd Anderson HS found out that reason last week! When tested, Roberson took down an AUsome interception and returned it 55 yds for a TD! He also had 2 tackles for the game (both solo), 1 forced fumble, and he blocked a punt in the game as well!

Kris Frost – Frost and his Butler Bulldogs are the #1 team in North Carolina, they’ve won 19 in a row, and after this past week, they are now 4-0 on the year! Frost and Co. escaped a close win 35-28 at Hibriten HS. For the game, Frost had 4 receptions for 28 yds on offense, and on defense, he had 8 tackles (4 solo).

Quan Bray – Lost 34-14 to East Coweta to fall to 2-2 on the year. Bray did have an 80-yd run for a TD in the game though, as well as a 37-yd TD reception that was called back due to a holding penalty.

Rodney Coe – Suffered a another tough loss, 62-13, this time at East St. Louis HS to go 1-3 on the year and 0-2 in the SW Conference. Coe did have 140 yds rushing even with the opposing defense keying in on him all night long!

Jermauria Rasco – Off this week.

Bruce Dukes – Had a VERY good game in Sandy Creek’s 48-6 win over Drew HS. In the game, Dukes had 2 tackles (both solo), 1 pass defense, and a BIG interception that he returned 16 yds for TD! He also had 2 punt returns for 22 yds (16 long). On another note, teammate Gavin Rocker had a good game as well with 3 tackles (2 solo) and 1 tackle for loss.

Xzavier Dickson – Led the #3 Griffen Bears to another victory to improve to 4-0 on the season with a 20-13 win over Jones County HS. Dickson had the play of the game, when he managed to strip the ball away from a Jones Co. ball carrier, which led to his team recovering and scoring right afterward twice to seal the victory!

Terry Bell – Lost again to fall to 1-3, as the Titans of Tenoroc fell to the Dreadnaughts of Lakeland 42-7.

Javorius Allen – The workhorse Buck Allen is proving to be one of the TOP RB’s in the nation! He had 2 TD’s in his Lincoln team’s first win of the year, 45-7 over Florida HS. The game saw Lincoln score on its 1st 4 drives on offense. Allen had 1 rushing TD and 1 TD reception in the win. To check out highlights of Allen CLICK HERE!!

Jonathan Jenkins – Led #2-ranked in NJCAA Mississippi Gulf Coast C.C. to a 31-24 victory at Jones C.C. In 3 gms, Jenkins has 12 tackles (9 solo) and 1 T.F.L.

Devaunte Sigler – Led B.C. Rain to a 26-12 win at Monroe County HS. The Rain defense created 6 six turnovers (5 INT’s) in the game on their way to the win. Sigler had a VERY dominant night with 13 tackles!

Wayne Lyons – Off this week.

Alex Dixon – Off this week.

Brendon Bigelow – Remains out with INJURY to his knee, but his Central East HS team did manage to travel to Chaparral and get a 27-12 win even without him.

Leon Mackey – Led Hinds C.C. to a 30-17 win over Copiah-Lincoln C.C. In 3 gms, Mackey has 13 tackles (9 solo), 3.5 T.F.L., and 2 sacks. There were also a few familiar faces on the Co-Lin side of the ball, as former AU commitments Terrence Coleman, who has 14 tackles (9 solo), 3 T.F.L., 3 sacks, and 1 forced fumble in 3 gms so far, and LaVoyd James, who has 3 tackles (all solo) through 3 gms, looked very impressive as well. Another 2011 AU recruit, Bo Tillman, also played in the game for Co-Lin. In 3 gms, he has 11 tackles (7 solo) and 1 sack.

Brandon Fulse – Saw his team put up 423 yds of offense in a 35-0 blowout win over Mulberry HS. Fulse had a 2-yd TD run in the game.

Ameer Abdullah – It can be argued that after 3 weeks, Abdullah has been the TOP performer in the state, as he has amassed an AMAZING 10 TD’s in 3 gms! This week though, he did not reach the end zone for the first time, as Mountain Brook was able to hold the speedy RB to just 86 yds on 19 carries in their 49-21 win over Abdullah’s Homewood team.

Buck Allen had 14 rushes for 68 yards and a 1 yard touchdown over Rickards (1-2) last night.  He had pretty similar numbers last week.

THANKS, AUDevil! It's VERY difficult to find info on Lincoln's games! If you're from the area, it would be VERY helpful if you could give us his #'s each week! Thanks and WDE!
