TheMayorOfChillville 31
I'm working on exams this week...I have 3 tests...as well as recruiting stuff for this week so I'm not going to do a "desk" article. ST and myself have been getting in touch with recruits after they visited this weekend and there should be several updates coming soon. All of the recruits that I have heard reports on so far have had nothing but great things to say about this weekend. Several were blown away...so yay! I really enjoyed meeting up with everyone at the tailgate this weekend. I also met some of you guys walking around campus. Great to meet anybody from AE. Thanks for wearing your AE shirts. We appreciate the support and it feels like we have a little fraternity inside the AU family. Good stuff. On the game...I thought the offense played pretty bad in the first half, but I was proud of them for coming back and scoring the way they did in the second half. I thought the defense fought and hit about as well as they could, to tell you the truth. People need to give Clemson a lot of credit. Their offense is balanced, they have a smart QB, and #8 Harper is awsome. There was a couple of times when the defense had the right play called, the player was in position to make the play, and Harper just embarrassed us. They also came in trying to prove something with the whole ACC vs SEC thing. I talked to several of their fans...I sat in a sea of Clemson fans, as I bought tickets they had sent back. Their fans were nice fans...at least all the ones I met. A couple of them talked about how much they loved our campus and how cool they thought it was. I also talked to others who were really fired up about seeing Jordan Hare for the first time and they were all impressed. They came out and supported their team really well, I thought, but weren't bammers about it. Cool people in my opinion. Bottom line...We were very lucky to come out of there with a win, but Les Miles says hi and sometimes I'd rather be lucky than good. We're still undefeated. We're going to have to play our best game of the year so far to beat South Carolina. WDE!

RockyMtnTiger 0
Not just the SEC v ACC thing Clemson hasn't beaten AU since 1951 I would say they want to change that. Have a great week Mayor I am looking forward to the report on the recruits who attended.

auburn4ever 1,266
If we find ourself down 17-0 or 17-3 against a strong running and passing team that also has a mighty strong defense, we won't be able to come back in the 2nd half with the way we've been playing the past 2 weeks. Jackson-Sullivan 0
Keep in mind that Dabo and Co. spent the better part of the last nine or so months preparing for us. We have gotten everyone's best shot thus far and I can guarantee USCe didn't spend much time on Furman last week.
AUBiker77 9
Agree. I don't think our coaches will underestimate the "Old Ball Coach", but suspect he has a few wrinkles planned for Saturday night.
