auvt5 0
Andrew Buie is has consistently had Auburn in his top schools, but he isn't someone we tend to hear a lot about. That may be because we are in it for highly ranked Blakely and Hart. However, after watching his film(I am no expert and don't pretend to be), he looks like a stud. His speed looks unreal and he is a 4 star on Rivals. Any thoughts on Buie's ability and/or why we don't hear much about his recruitment in regards to Auburn. Thanks for any input. War Eagle! Zimas4Ziemba 0
From watching his film, he looks to be really, really good but not a game changer. Blakely and Hart are game changers that a defensive coordinator would have to scheme their defense against to stop.
Hopsing 499
Saw Andrew Buie play tonight. He is not a threat at QB, but he had some serious runs from RB position. He lines up a lot at an H-back position and swings back around to wideside of field and takes the pitch. Several times he was stopped as the defense was obviously keying on him, but he had about a 30 yarder were he went to his right, and cut back throught to left broke a few tackles and showed excellent burst to the endzone. He would look good iin O & B! Ahmad Christian on same team took a pitch 60 yards, and they have a Soph player named Nick Washington that looks to be a future beast at RB. I spoke to some people from their team and they said this was his 2nd game at RB, and he has been playing safety regularly
auburn4ever 1,266
Rodney Coe and Brendon Bigelow would be game changers for us.
kbtiger151345162906 0
I think Buie is solid and would be a good fit to go with Blakely. I think the ship has sailed on Hart and Bigelow and is about to leave the port on Coe. Hopefully Buie or Buck Allen will close out the class with Blakely. DJ_Hatch 0
There's a new artucle up on Rivals on Buie. Seems to look good for us. Anyone want to summarize? He's just now getting around to an interview about his visit to AU for the Clemson game. (Per Rivals.com) "It was great. I loved it." "I plan on taking an official visit there, but it probably won't be until after the season is over with," said Buie. "I will probably be back up there for another game, too." Buie says that Auburn has been high on his list for a while now, and they will stay there till the end! "From the interest they have shown, they are one of my top, top schools," he said. "I think the offense would be a great fit for me. I just love the environment at Auburn. It's a nice college town environment. I also love the coaching staff." He says that he is currently in communications with Coach Curtis Luper, and he likes their relationship a lot! "He was telling me that I'm a top running back on their recruiting list and they are really wanting to get me in there," Buie said. "He said I would give them a homerun threat. I really like Coach 'Lupe'. We have really built a good relationship these last couple of weeks." Claims that Auburn, Ole Miss, Louisville and South Carolina have been recruiting him the longest/hardest, but recently Pittsburgh and Arkansas have joined in the mix as well. Out of those, Buie says he knows he will visit AU again "for sure", and Louisville and USCe will get visits also, plus maybe some of the others. He won't make a decision until he takes more visits.
