great perspective on AU

the thing is, AU traditionally starts slow. We could very well look back in November and be glad this happened. It's easy to get caught up in the moment now but its a long season and we have a ways to go ourselves as a team. But the important thing is to win and sometimes do it by any means necessary. We are getting and gonna continue to get teams best shots, we usually do, but I don't remember a team since 04 that could find a way to win like this team is showing. USCe will again be the toughest challenge so far this season and we are most likely in for another slugfest, but hey its the SEC and not for the faint of heart........

"Championship teams find ways to win football games. So far, Auburn’s done it three times in three different ways. Does that make them a championship caliber team? Not necessarily, but it certainly makes them dangerous."

This is really true.  The one thing that Auburn hasnt allowed this year?.....Auburn hasnt allowed a team to get comfortable.  Clemson had a 17-3 "comfortable lead" and look where that got them.  The best way to beat Auburn is to score on every drive.

Just think how all of us would be feeling if Auburn's comeback had fallen short. It didn't and the tigers are 3-0 on the year. I had a coch once tell me he would much rather his team learn from a win than a loss. WDE.

Great last point there.  :we:

Last year, we won our first five fairly easily, then hit some rough spots with the losses. The thing is, is that we didn't see much improvement from those first five wins. There's definitely something to be said for winning "ugly". It forces you to look at your shortcomings and improve. That's what we're doing, and I like it. We really just need consistency.

This team is fun to watch. Kind of like Forest Gump's box of chocolate in that you never know what you are going to each week.  Heck, you gotta love this team and I will tell you why.  It all begins with #2 Cam Newton. His passing skills will only get better with each game. When we establish a running game, we will start putting up 500 yard games of offense.  I think the defense is only going to get better each week. We need to make quicker adjustments in the first half of games. I am confident that DC Roof is working hard on this and it will start showing as the season progresses.
